"WHAAAA! WHAAAA! 9-11! 9-11! 9-11! WHAAAA! Remember 9-11!"
Kerry responds to Repub outrage over Kennedy's remarks

I am getting so FUCKING SICK AND TIRED of 9-11 being brought up everytime these losers are confronted with something!

"Mr. president-what about the lack of WMD in Iraq?"
"WHAAAA! WHAAAA! 9-11! 9-11! 9-11! WHAAAA! Remember 9-11!"

"Mr. president-given our unemployment rate and federal deficit, do you think that its wise to ask the House for more corporate tax-cuts?"
"WHAAAA! WHAAAA! 9-11! 9-11! 9-11! WHAAAA! Remember 9-11!"

"Mr. president-there is a chance that Hillary may run for office. Your response?"
"WHAAAA! WHAAAA! 9-11! 9-11! 9-11! WHAAAA! Remember 9-11!"

I guess Clinton's cock isin't working anymore.

1. Me, too.
He may actually accomplish the impossible - making people sick of hearing about 9-11 and having their chains yanked about it all the time. Despicable, cowardly, arrogant schmuck!!!!

By the way - WELCOME TO DU!!!

24. it's strange you should say that
Edited on Sat Sep-20-03 10:33 PM by Skittles
I knew no one who died that horrible day but I felt the need to GET someone's name so when they speak of 9/11, of the victims and the families, I could remember a person instead of nameless people.

For whatever reason, that person became Brooke Alexandra Jackman, who was just 23 when she died that day.

on edit - sangha, I'm sorry you didn't have to search for those names.

28. I tell them
that I had a friend who was there that day (he had just gotten off the train when the first plane hit, and wisely hid behind a pillar until the panic subsided, then got-the-hell out). Where was George?

20. Probably because he is ugly
both on the inside and outside. Pure evil and I am also getting sick of Mr Trifecta invoking 9/11 to justify his evil agenda, especially since I believe in LIHOP, which makes it even harder to take!

4. What I always like
are the people in rural Idaho who act like they were personally affected by 911. Most were not, but to them they pretend like it was some kind of a life changing epiphany. My friends in NYC always tell me that the rest of the nation doesn't get it because, "we will be the ones who pay the price for *'s reckless foregin policy"

5. Whenever they bring up 9-11
why doesn't some journalist, rather than some media whore... okay, fantasy time...

why doesn't some democrat ask Bush why has repeatedly interferred with an investigation into 9-11. Why did he appoint a man in biz with a relative of the bin Laden's until three weeks before his appt. to head the 9-11 commission?

why did he let the Saudis fly out without questioning them?

why won't he and Laura meet with the 9-11 widows?

why won't the media whores ask these questions?

15. And 'when will congress get control over the CIA'?
You are so right!
And you can also ask if any groups who bring terrorists together and train them and arm them should be held accountable..

Why on earth there is no discussion about reining in the CIA (and the School of the Americas "WHISC", too, by the way)after 9-11 completely mystifies me.

I guess we will perpetually have a sign out that says "Arms-R-Us" and I should just get over it.

i really DON'T need a reminder.

and, the one thing I'm reminded of is:

WHO ACTUALLY BENEFITTED FROM 9/11?
WHO HIT THE 'TRIFECTA'?
WHO REFUSED TO INVESTIGATE?

9. Waving the bloody shirt
They have to keep reminding us about it. I remember fine, thanks. I was fortunate that no one I know was killed or even hurt in those attacks (although a few lost their jobs afterwards).

The other thing that gets me is the epiphany that some people had afterwards, that they do "hate us for our freedoms" and "we have to stop terrorism", as if it did not exist before.

All I can add to this is that I thank God often for the fact that my sister Rachel was late for work. She's a Manhattan lawyer, and had she caught her usual train she probably would have been buried under all that toxin-filled rubble.

12. " I guess Clinton's cock isn't working anymore. " LOL
Love to see that as a NYT's headline. Sounds Onionesque.

- Clinton's Lazy Cock a Factor In Economic Downturn, say Right Wing Hacks

(ASAP) - After years of producing vast wealth and tens of thousands of jobs, many on the right are accusing Clinton's cock of "...falling down on the job." .

Ann Coulter, whose books set all time record for bulk sales, made reference to "...the industry's melloncholic(Sp?) state." and when asked about the impact of Clinton's cock, Ms. Coulter pensively sighed , "It's huge."

9/11 is Chimpboys only platform, and now the Repgigs will have their convention as close to 9/11 as possible.

These are with out a doubt the sickest FUCKING BASTARDS I know of. Use 3,000 dead people as a re-selection front, send kids to Iraq to get killed or maimed so Dick Cheney and Halliburton can rake in BILLIONS. Holy crap.....

18. It's a sad commentary when a terrorist attack is the best thing....
....to happen to you.

As is true of Duh-bya. His tears are of the crocodile variety.

While the Usurper in the White House was benefiting from the attack, the Middle Eastern businesses in my neighborhood withstood death threats and other similar acts of terror. One in particular has a display showing all the nice supportive letters from their customers and neighbors expressing sadness and anger. Sadness that the world can really suck sometimes and anger at people who let their ignorance and hate rule them.

That display brought a tear to my eye.

I don't think the Bush Junta has understood the first thing about being human.

Compassion. Not just words. Deeds.

31. *cyberhugs to nobody and friends*
That attitude, the hate just blew me away. Do you know one of the first things I did after Sept. 11th? All the slamming and just sickening hatred of all things Middle-Eastern prompted me to request a copy of the Qu'oran. I read it from cover to cover, and now I display it prominantly in my living room. (shockingly, I learned from a Muslim acquaintance I follow the Muslim traditions for displaying to Qu'oran, despite my complete ignorance about the religion itself or its traditions, i.e. never do anyone's feet rise above the level of the table my Qu'oran is displayed on, displayed with other spiritual works, the Qu'oran is in front of the others in a sort of pyramid shape, etc. etc.)

Oddly enough, I am deeply impressed and inspired by the proponents of Islam who have a book made to be distributed for free that puts to shame any Christian Bible not made for profit or sale. My absolutely FREE copy of the Qu'oran is much nicer and more pleasant to open and to read than any retail purchased Bible in my home today. Hebrew characters are included which even further amazes me. Much like Mandarin Chinese and other character languages, there is just something so fluid and peaceful about thse forms of writing I can't help but enjoy looking at them, even when I can't read them.

No, I don't buy that Islamic terrorists hate Americans for "freedom". They hate us because we're jingoistic @ssholes! That doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out! That's why ALL terrorists hate Americans.

I know this is off topic, but I wanted you and others to be aware that some of us were moved to take a position of genuine and heartfelt sorrow for everyone involved and for those affected after the fact. That some people understand the difference between rational people and terrorists of any stripe.

Peace and joy to you, my friend.

22. So what? Kerry popped the turd DeLay right in the chops!
Gee? You think something other than 9-11 will be more important in 2004? And why do you slam Kerry? Here's what he said from the article:

Kennedy, DeLay Clash on Bush Iraq Policy

EXCERPT...

Responding to DeLay's call for Democratic presidential candidates to disavow Kennedy's comments, Kerry fired back — at the Texas lawmaker.

"Tom DeLay is a bully," Kerry said. "He tried to bully Democrats in Texas and we're not going to accept his shrill partisan attacks or allow him to suggest that patriotism belongs to one political party."

Kerry was referring to DeLay's role in redistricting the state's congressional boundaries to benefit Republicans.

CONTINUED...

Gee. I thought Democrats were supposed to be happy when Tom Bugcatcher and the BFEE catch hell. Kerry must be getting some people mighty 'fraid of jail. In addition to being a great chief executive, Kerry would make an oustanding commander-in-chief.

He scores a couple of points with me on that one. As a Texas resident, Tom Delay annoys me about as much as W does; it's way past time for other politicians to get rid of the creep. Bully he is! and Bully for Kerry (in a good sense)! Thanks for the cheery post. :)

How these asshole Republicans have so little value on human life that they can throw 9/11 around like its their own whore.

They have hijacked and dishonored the memory of 9/11, as they have hijacked and dishonored any notion of patriotism.
