Bush has GOT to Go -- CHIMPEACH!
Time to get serious about Chimpeachment.

The little turd from Crawford:

Lied us into an Illegal Invasion, War and Occupation.
Lied when inventing phony Saddam-Osama connections.
Lied about intelligence cherry-picked to build casus belli.
Lied about not knowing about 9-11 before it happened.
Lied about letting Osama family fly out of USA after 9-11.
Lied about not knowing James R Bath.
Lied when holding hands with Dick Cheney in front of 9-11 Warren Commission.
Lied when asked: "Who outted CIA agent Valerie Plame?"

Then there are the "little" lies that still qualify as "High Crimes and Misdemeanors"

Lied about HARKEN Energy insider trading.
Lied about fixing things for bidness as governor of Texas.
Lied about tax cuts helping everybody.
Lied about not knowing Ken Lay.
Lied about Social Security.

I know there are ten billion more lies to come flying out of the crazy monkey's drunken coke-whore's pie-hole of a smirk what's his.

An idea: Let's give the impeachment prosecution a head start.

What else did the liar pretzelnut George Walker Bush LIE about?

14. I have--sorry to say, apparently I have some cousins who won't
speak to me anymore. Sad, because my mom, their only remaining aunt, died two years ago and I thought my cousins and I had that family tie in common. Guess not, though I did not actually make Bush and his ugly policies a point of discussion and dissention. Guess the cousins didn't like it when I shared my honest doubts about what's going on. Would help if I could agree that Jesus is going to rapture us out of this mess and we'll be done with it, but I just don't see it that way anymore. Miserable excuse for a human being is too kind a way to describe Bush. Sorry to lose contact w/my cousins, there are so few of us left, but this is a small price to pay, I guess. I'm on the verge of losing a couple of friends, too. Thank you, Dubya, for bringing us together. Words fail me in articulating how I feel about this vacuous little man.

Internally, I start to curse at the driver. It's automatic.

The thing is, it's not their fault.

The fault is entirely with Bush and the BFEE. The guy's following TurdBlossom's readin' of Machiavelli: Divide and Conquer.

What we can do about it:

Spread the Truth:

Bush is a Crook!

The Bundle of Sticks

A father had sons who were always quarrelling.
They would not listen when he told them about the danger of disagreement.
This father decided to give his sons a practical lesson.
He took a bundle of sticks and asked each son in turn to break the bundle.
None of his sons were able to do this.
Then the father opened the bundle and gave his sons separate sticks.
Of course the sons could break these sticks easily.
The father said, "Our family is like this bundle of sticks.
While we are together, nothing can break us.
When we are divided, our enemies will break us as easily as these sticks."

Moral: Through Unity Is Strength.

Something else Chicken George knows nothing about.

Remember how Bush lied about John Kerry, a real war hero?

Weapons of Mass Destruction Doublethink

By Michelle Mairesse

"It is not merely that speeches, statistics, and records of every kind must be constantly brought up to date in order to show that the predictions of the Party were in all cases right. It is also that no change of doctrine or in political alignment can ever be admitted." -- George Orwell, 1984

The Bush administration‘s commitment to Orwellian Doublethink and Doublespeak intensifies with every new disclosure of the deceit and trumped-up intelligence that fueled our invasion of Iraq. They promised us smoking guns but produced smoke screens.

Behind a series of smoke screens, the administration plotted the "preemptive" attack on a nation that presented no credible threat to the United States.

Although neoconservatives in the current Bush administration had urged Clinton to attack Iraq as early as 1998, the American public only got the first inkling of the neocon plan when Vice President Cheney began making incendiary speeches in 2002. Speaking at a Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention in late August, he unequivocally declared, "Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction. There is no doubt he is amassing them to use against our friends, against our allies, and against us."

The source for much of Cheney’s information was Iraqi defector and former head of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction programs, Lt. Gen. Hussein Kamel. Cheney remarked that Kamel's story "should serve as a reminder to all that we often learned more as the result of defections than we learned from the inspection regime itself."

Cheney and his war party were dissatisfied with the intelligence provided by the established agencies. For one thing, the CIA refused to credit the neocon claim that Saddam Hussein had been involved in the 9/11 attack. Shortly after the World Trade Center went up in flames, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld set up a new intelligence agency, the Office of Special Plans, headed by Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz. It would be independent of both the CIA and Pentagon and accountable only to Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld. Critics would accuse the Office of Special Plans of cherry-picking intelligence reports by suppressing information that undermined the war party agenda.

21. You're right! The crazy monkey's done absolutely NOTHING.
Then again, that's what his "class" does.

The Origins of the Overclass

By Steve Kangas

The wealthy have always used many methods to accumulate wealth, but it was not until the mid-1970s that these methods coalesced into a superbly organized, cohesive and efficient machine. After 1975, it became greater than the sum of its parts, a smooth flowing organization of advocacy groups, lobbyists, think tanks, conservative foundations, and PR firms that hurtled the richest 1 percent into the stratosphere.

The origins of this machine, interestingly enough, can be traced back to the CIA. This is not to say the machine is a formal CIA operation, complete with code name and signed documents. (Although such evidence may yet surface — and previously unthinkable domestic operations such as MK-ULTRA, CHAOS and MOCKINGBIRD show this to be a distinct possibility.) But what we do know already indicts the CIA strongly enough. Its principle creators were Irving Kristol, Paul Weyrich, William Simon, Richard Mellon Scaife, Frank Shakespeare, William F. Buckley, Jr., the Rockefeller family, and more. Almost all the machine's creators had CIA backgrounds.

During the 1970s, these men would take the propaganda and operational techniques they had learned in the Cold War and apply them to the Class War. Therefore it is no surprise that the American version of the machine bears an uncanny resemblance to the foreign versions designed to fight communism. The CIA's expert and comprehensive organization of the business class would succeed beyond their wildest dreams. In 1975, the richest 1 percent owned 22 percent of America’s wealth. By 1992, they would nearly double that, to 42 percent — the highest level of inequality in the 20th century.

How did this alliance start? The CIA has always recruited the nation’s elite: millionaire businessmen, Wall Street brokers, members of the national news media, and Ivy League scholars. During World War II, General "Wild Bill" Donovan became chief of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the forerunner of the CIA. Donovan recruited so exclusively from the nation’s rich and powerful that members eventually came to joke that "OSS" stood for "Oh, so social!"

Another early elite was Allen Dulles, who served as Director of the CIA from 1953 to 1961. Dulles was a senior partner at the Wall Street firm of Sullivan and Cromwell, which represented the Rockefeller empire and other mammoth trusts, corporations and cartels. He was also a board member of the J. Henry Schroeder Bank, with offices in Wall Street, London, Zurich and Hamburg. His financial interests across the world would become a conflict of interest when he became head of the CIA. Like Donavan, he would recruit exclusively from society’s elite.

The Bell Curve and GW Bush

Think Tank Frankensteins:
GW Bush's Rainbow Cabinet

by Robert Lederman

Frankenstein: (noun) A monster created from incongruous parts.

The media keeps telling us that GW Bush's racially, ethnically and gender diverse cabinet proves he is not a bigot. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The conservative foundations behind GW's appointees - the Heritage Foundation, The Federalist Society, the John M. Olin Foundation, the Sarah Scaife Foundation, the Manhattan Institute and the Bradley Foundation - have created these think tank Frankensteins for a sinister purpose.

African Americans who quote Charles Murray - a eugenicist who believes Blacks are genetically inferior; Latinos who oppose the minimum wage and believe Spanish should not be spoken in America; a Jewish press secretary for a President whose family bankrolled Hitler - it is damage control not diversity that accounts for these men and women rising to prominence.

The corporate foundations that sponsored these appointees and in many cases created their reputations are believers in white supremacy and eugenics. Their long range plans for America's people of color and for the populations of Third World nations could more appropriately be titled "The Final Solution" than "Compassionate Conservatism".

These same foundations have insidiously penetrated every aspect of American political life. Under the guise of philanthropy they now financially sponsor virtually all the television shows on PBS dealing with political, religious or educational issues, dominate talk radio and supply the vast majority of the "experts" on network news programs or quoted in mainstream newspapers.

Scientific Racism

An ideological blitzkrieg is being waged with social scientists bankrolled by corporations with a eugenics viewpoint as front-line troops. Unlike the KKK or other openly racist groups, the organizations backing Bush and his appointees are made up of educated people who sponsor seminars and publish scholarly books rather than burning crosses. That's why eugenics is called, scientific racism.

Behind the foundations that financed the research and the widespread - often free - distribution of these social scientists' books you will find white supremacists, defense contractors, pharmaceutical companies with ties to IG Farben, former Nazis and advocates for depopulating much of the world. Their obsession with birthrates and IQ scores among people of color is tied to ideas about national security and so-called anti-communism. For three generations the Bush family has been centrally involved in these efforts.

withered rope you hang what's empty can't remain to put it simply
in time cry the hollow words to sing with false disguise
smothered hope fly from sorrow for a new divine tomorrow
i just don't want to know anymore
life shifts up and down everybody knows it's wrong
why don't you care? now do it seem fair?
it's not in the rhyme or reason
so it goes with every season crawl to top fall through bottom
first hand love is really rotten
slice of life find what's plenty inch towards a sanctuary
light with me inside the womb
i know everyone everybody knows it's me
it's my voice, my voice cries out obscenity
sightless eye regard my past sometimes it should
i just don't want to know anymore.

38. A Key to Chimpeachment
Now THAT's some scary looking bird, seemslikeadream.

And to think I work with isshules who believe global warming's been disproven.

Now here's something I think you'll really like.

The Key To Impeachment

Norman Solomon
June 01, 2005

Norman Solomon's new book, War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us to Death, comes off the press in June. For information, go to: www.WarMadeEasy.com.

If you think President Bush should be impeached, it's time to get serious.

We're facing huge obstacles—and they have nothing to do with legal standards for impeachment. This is all about media and politics.

Five months into 2005, the movement to impeach Bush is very small. And three enormous factors weigh against it: 1) Republicans control Congress. 2) Most congressional Democrats are routinely gutless. 3) Big media outlets shun the idea that the president might really be a war criminal.

For now, we can't end the GOP's majority. But we could proceed to light a fire under congressional Democrats. And during the next several weeks, it's possible to have major impacts on news media by launching a massive educational and "agitational" campaign—spotlighting the newly leaked Downing Street Memo and explaining why its significance must be pursued as a grave constitutional issue.

The leak of the memo weeks ago, providing minutes from a high-level meeting that Prime Minister Tony Blair held with aides in July 2002, may be the strongest evidence yet that Bush is guilty of an impeachable offense. As Rep. John Conyers, the ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, wrote in late May:

* "First, the memo appears to directly contradict the administration's assertions to Congress and the American people that it would exhaust all options before going to war. According to the minutes, in July 2002, the administration had already decided to go to war against Iraq."

* "Second, a debate has raged in the United States over the last year and one half about whether the obviously flawed intelligence that falsely stated that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction was a mere 'failure' or the result of intentional manipulation to reach foreordained conclusions supporting the case for war. The memo appears to close the case on that issue stating that in the United States the intelligence and facts were being 'fixed' around the decision to go to war."

I agree with you about everything with the exception of the punishment, where I'd add every member of the BFEE -- from the Monkey House to any crooked asshat supporter driving around with a Duyha sticker on the back window -- ends up spending the rest of his or her (Hi, Condi!) natural days making little rocks out of big rocks in the big yard.

You're absolutely correct, Just Me. I can't think of a single thing that the psychotic mankee has done to make life better for the American people. There is none. Apart from the tax breaks for the super-rich, of course.

What gets me angriest is how this ignorant wastrel failed to protect the American people on September 11 and how he reacted to his own "mistake" or dishonesty. While the former describes criminal negligence bordering on treason, I prefer the latter based on his character.

Bush is so crooked, he can't pee straight.

Here's some of his family history:

The Family That Preys Together -
the Bush Family

by Jack Colhoun
CovertAction Quarterly, 1992

George Jr.'s BCCI Connection

"This is an incredible deal, unbelievable for this small company," analyst Charles Strain told Forbes magazine, describing the oil production sharing agreement the Harken Energy Corporation signed in January 1990 with Bahrain.

Under the terms of the deal, Harken was given the exclusive right to explore for gas and oil off the shores of the Gulf island nation. If gas or oil were found in waters near two of the world's largest gas and oil fields Harken would have exclusive marketing and transportation rights for the energy resources. Truly an "incredible deal" for a company that had never drilled an offshore well.

Strain failed to point out, however, the one fact that puts the Harken deal in focus: George W. Bush, the eldest son of George and Barbara Bush of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C., is a member of Harken's board of directors, a consultant and a stockholder in the Texas-based company. In light of this connection, the deal makes more sense.

The involvement of Junior - George Walker Bush's childhood nickname-with Harken is a walking conflict of interest. His relationship to President Bush, rather than any business acumen, made him a valuable asset for Harken, the Republican Party benefactors, Middle East oil sheikhs and covert operators who played a part in Harken's Bahrain deal. In fact Junior's track record as an oilman is pretty dismal. He began his career in Midland, Texas, in the mid-1970s when he founded Arbusto Energy, Inc. When oil prices dropped in the early 1980s, Arbusto fell upon hard times. Junior was only rescued from business failure when his company was purchased by Spectrum 7 Energy Corporation, a small oil firm owned by William DeWitt and Mercer Reynolds. As part of the September 1984 deal, Bush became Spectrum 7's president and was given a 13.6 percent share in the company's stock. Oil prices stayed low and within two years, Spectrum 7 was in trouble.

In the six months before Spectrum 7 was acquired by Harken in 1986, it had lost $400,000. In the buy out deal, George "Jr." and his partners were given more than $2 million worth of Harken stock for the 180-well operation. Made a director and hired as a "consultant" to Harken, Junior received another $600,000 of Harken stock and has been paid between $42,000 and $120,000 a year since 1986.

Junior's value to Harken soon became apparent when the company needed an infusion of cash in the spring of 1987. Junior and other Harken officials met with Jackson Stephens, head of Stephens, Inc., a large investment bank in Little Rock, Arkansas (Stephens made a $100,000 contribution to the Reagan-Bush campaign in 1980 and gave another $100,000 to the Bush dinner committee in 1990.)

OVERVIEW: THE CIA, THE DRUG TRAFFIC, AND OSWALD IN MEXICO

Kryptocracies, Kryptonomy, and Oswald: the Mexican CIA-Mob Nexus

EXCERPT...

Kryptocracies and the Kryptonomy (International Drug Traffic)
But the power of kryptocracies to influence history became even greater when, as we shall see, they acted in concert with forces allied to the powerful international drug traffic. Most people are unaware of the size of this unrecorded drug economy. In 1981 U.S. Government analysts estimated that the annual sales volume of illicit drugs exceeded half a trillion dollars.<4> The total of legitimate, recorded international trade, in all commodities, was in the order of one trillion dollars, or twice the estimate for drugs. While estimates of the unrecorded drug traffic remain questionable, it is obvious that this traffic is large enough to be a major factor in both the economic and political considerations of government, even while it does not form part of recorded economic statistics.

For this reason, I propose the word kryptonomy, to name this unrecorded, illicit, but nonetheless important shadow economy. It is no accident that kryptocracies and the kryptonomy work in concert. The kryptonomy is so large, and so powerful, that governments have no choice but to plan to manage it, even before attempting to suppress it.<5>

There is a third factor contributing to the invisible alliance of kryptocracies and the kryptonomy: the power of the independently wealthy, and of the banks that cater to them. Informed observers of American politics have more than once commented to me that most of the hundred wealthiest people in the US know each other, and in addition often have connections to both the CIA and to organized crime. There is no shortage of anecdotal examples: James Angleton of CIA Counterintelligence delivering the sole eulogy at the small private funeral of Howard Hughes, or Joseph Kennedy Sr. being a point-holder in the same casino (the Cal-Neva) as Sam Giancana.<6>  More relevant to the milieu of the JFK assassination is the example of Clint Murchison, Sr. Murchison paid for the horse-racing holidays of FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover at the same time as he sold stakes in his investments to mob figures like Jerry Catena, and enjoyed political influence in Mexico.<7>

These connections are no accident. More often than not the extremely wealthy became that way by ignoring or bending the rules of society, not by observing them. In corrupting politicians, or in bypassing them to secure unauthorized foreign intercessions, both the mob and the CIA can be useful allies. In addition drug profits need to be laundered, and banks can derive a significant percentage of their profits by laundering them, or otherwise bending or breaking the rules of their host countries.<8> Citibank came under Congressional investigation after having secretly moved $80 million to $100 million for Raul Salinas de Gortari, brother of former Mexican president Carlos Salinas.<9>

33. IMHO the most likely key Watergate-like event for ousting * would be
a CRIMINAL conviction of a high WH staffer in the Plame outing.

You have a fine list of *'s crimes and misdemeanors there, but only one stands out in light of the most recent example of successfully cleaning out the WH:

Watergate did not really get rollling until January 1973, when G. Gordon Liddy and James W. McCord were convicted of conspiracy, burglary, and wiretapping. Unfortunately, merely POLITICAL scandals like lying to start a war to kill 100,000 people, conspiring to deprive African-Americans of their right to vote, etc. aren't crimes of Watergate proportions in our Republic.

But the Plame outing was a CRIME far more serious than what brought down Liddy and McCord, and raised the key question: "What did the President know, and when did he know it?" See http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=1820923 for a thread focusing on bringing down Dubya and Rove using a Watergate template.
