Bush @ news conference: " I don't worry about anything here in Washington"
<<SNIP>>
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/05/20050531.html

THE PRESIDENT: I don't worry about anything here in Washington, D.C. I mean, I feel -- feel comfortable in my role as the President, and my role as the President is to push for reform. The American people appreciate a President who sees a problem and is willing to put it on the table.

<</SNIP>>

Fox News is reporting on the Downing Steet Memo/Minutes sir, it's time to worry...

1. He can talk about how good it was to push for reform in Iraq.
Regardless of the "reasons" given, right?

6. the statement is so broad .... it could be taken to mean so many things...
not having heard the news conference, nor having read the rest of the news conference, and judgin by just the statement you have quoted, it could mean so many things ... like,

(1) here in Washington i am safe from planes and terrorists and all the rest.

(2) here in Washington it is I who rules ... no one can touch me here.

(3) here in Washington ... there is not another Bob Woodward who can touch me.

(4) here in Washington is my bubble and no one can crack it..sharp shooters on the roof, ten inch steel limousines, air space no one can break or they run getting shot down ... here in Washington... i have my crown...

12. The son of a bitch (meant literally) has never had to worry about
anything in his perverse goddamn LIFE.
I know it's not necessary to re-list all the dozens of times his good fairy showed up to save his sorry butt.

19. The More Bike Riding the Better!
He is not starting any unnecessary wars and lying about it
while he is riding a bike.
He is not appointing any Fundies to the Supreme Court
while he is riding a bike.
He's not any use when you DO tell him, say, that
airplanes have crashed into the WTC and we are under attack.
We all saw that.

There is a more important reason.

If ** does not get plenty of exercise,
he becomes even more paranoid and dangerous.
Or else he gets drunk.
Or both.

LET BOOSH** RIDE HIS BIKE! For all our sakes!

Let him ride all day! Let him try out for the Tour de France!

20. A relative of mine saw part of his news conference...
She caught a glimpse of him on the screen before her kids changed it to cartoons..asked me "why was there a 'special report' in the middle of the day with him having a press conference, I thought we were getting attacked again"...Noooo, I told her, he runs and hides when THAT happens, remember?? I explained that it must have been one of those "my approval numbers are still in the crapper" press conferences.
