so, some of you may remember this car

sadly, she is soon to go to the great junkyard in the sky, unless i get it together and post it on e-bay.
i am getting ready to start on her replacement. i have a 93 suburban that i am going to use unless a miracle occurs very soon. my family sometimes hated driving around in the beat bush mobile. the truck pulls the trailer. so i am trying to go with something that doesn't scream at you from a mile away. i am thinking of putting the constitution in panels. i am thinking of making the parts the the bush administration has violated in large red type, with footnotes citing specific acts and dates, and references in media and on the web. shit that has actually appeared in newspapers, but is still not an issue somehow. hmmm.
so, can i get some du help on this? here is a link, please cut an paste the article, and give as much info on the act in question as possible.

reTHUGs already did the leg work of 'catapulting the PROPAGANDA' for us, besides we need to put that meme to good use, put some political jujitsu on their a$$

PREVENTIVE WAR is a WAR CRIME, the SUPREME war crime.

The Nuremberg Judgment included the following statement:

"The charges in the indictment that the defendants planned and waged aggressive wars are charges of the utmost gravity. War is essentially an evil thing. Its consequences are not confined to the belligerent states alone, but affect the whole world. To initiate a war of aggression, therefore, is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole."

psst... pass the word

25. lying to CONGRESS is ALSO an IMPEACHABLE offense... ------------> LINK
Michigan Democratic Representative John Conyers (news, bio, voting record) has called the latest revelations about these attacks "the smoking bullet in the smoking gun," irrefutable proof that President Bush misled Congress before the vote on Iraq. When Bush asked Congress to authorize the use of force in Iraq, he also said he would use it only as a last resort, after all other avenues had been exhausted. But the Downing Street memo reveals that the Administration had already decided to topple Saddam by force and was manipulating intelligence to justify the decision. That information puts the increase in unprovoked air attacks in the year prior to the war in an entirely new light: The Bush Administration was not only determined to wage war on Iraq, regardless of the evidence; it had already started that war months before it was put to a vote in Congress.

i put about 3000 miles a year on this truck. i keep her in good tune. i have several good reasons for driving it. my most of the time car is a compact. it is not a hummer, it an old chevy. it has over a quarter of a million miles on it, so at least i am using it until it is used up.
let's not sidetrack this discussion with leftier than thou, backstabbing crap. we really need to learn to avoid that kind of crap.

20. thanks for your help
don't get cranky. i'm just trying to get at a very specific thing. something that i can translate into a very simple (although complex) piece of visual art. some of the links to articles of impeachment are pretty good, but even then, they are not stating specific acts that violate specific articles and sections. and after that i still want a media citation.
if it doesn't hurt, it isn't art. thanks for understanding.

22. extrodinary rendition
intentionally skirting us laws to have detanees tortured. Paying for news stories, propagandizing our own people. Both of these would fit under high crimes as defined by the Constitution. Especially the paying for news stories, if the government can subvert the electoral process it is an attack on our Democracy itself.

23. Draft Impeachment Resolution Against President George W. Bush
by FRANCIS A. BOYLE
professor of law, University of Illinois School of Law

108nd Congress H.Res.XX

1st Session

Impeaching George Walker Bush, President of the United States, of high crimes and misdemeanors.

source...
http://www.counterpunch.org/boyle01172003.html

##############################################################

Grounds for Impeachment
There are several possible violations for which Bush could be impeached.
Violation of International Law

Form a legal standpoint, the most compelling reason for impeachments is for his violation of international law relating to his War on Iraq. It is the most easily proven, and the most serious given the loss of life involved.

According to our Constitution, International Treaties are part of the "supreme Law of the Land". Bush's violations of the UN Charter and the Nuremberg Charter are, therefore, impeachable offenses. Read more...
Lying about the Rationale for War

Bush and his team consistently lied to Congress and the American Public about the rationale for war. Bush convinced a majority of Americans that Iraq was involved with Al-Qaeda and responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Yet the evidence says that the only relationship is that Al-Qaeda asked Iraq for support and they were rebuffed. Bush said in his State of the Union Address that Iraq was buying Uranium from Nigeria to build nuclear weapons despite having already been told by the CIA that the evidence was forged. Bush claimed to have hard evidence that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. But the UN investigators could not verify any of these claims and searches of Iraq revealed no such weapons. The real reason may have more to do with the fact that Iraq has the second largest oil reserves in the world, and sits strategically in the center of the Middle East.
Energy Industry Involvement
The depth of Bushes involvement in the energy industry scandal is yet to be revealed. Dick Cheney is in violation of a court order by refusing to divulge what went on in meetings with Enron and other energy companies. It is known that these energy companies were huge contributors to the Bush campaign. Bush has returned the favor by refusing to regulate them while they illegally gouged California for electricity, and by relaxing numerous environmental regulations that the industry did not like. One way to find out the nature of these talks is to impeach Bush which will lead to further investigation.
Election Fraud
Before the election in 2000, George Bush, his brother Jeb Bush, and his Florida campaign manager Secretary of State Katherine Harris, illegally purged over 57,000 mostly Democratic Florida voters from the rolls. This was enough votes to account for Bush's 537 vote margin over Al Gore. If this crime had not been committed then Al Gore would have been president. Read more...
Other Possibilities
Numerous other accusations against Bush. But much more investigation would be required to raise these from the level of "conspiracy theory" to the level of a workable case for impeachment. The accusations include:

* Thwarting investigations by the FBI into the September 11th bombing.
* Conspiracy to conceal evidence in the airplane crash of Paul Wellstone.

24. I need it like bible toilet paper
If they HAD bible toilet paper, i'd buy a roll right now, cuz i need
to feel the wisdom of ages when i wipe my bum.

However i'm seeing a market, for a myriad of different toilet papers,
GOP inspired.

There could be constitution TP; tax-code TP; Lawrence welk song-sheets
TP and so much other rich and diverse material that really is better
read by the other end than by the front end.

I mean, with constitution TP, at least i can get some comfort out of
that old piece of tattered parchment. ;-)

Koran TP is bound to be a big seller, like the on-line shop could have
running weekly tallies of the winner, bible or koran for wiping the
most holy asses. Forget cars... people READ when they wipe!
