U.S. soldier kills rare bengal tiger in after hours zoo party

ADIL SALMAN MOUSA told Reuters a group of U.S. soldiers were having a party in the zoo on Thursday night, after it had closed.
“Someone was trying to feed the tigers,” he said. “The tiger bit his finger off and clawed his arm. So his colleague took a gun and shot the tiger.”
The night watchman said the soldiers had arrived in military vehicles but were casually dressed and were drinking beer.

I don't blame the Iraqi people for hating us. I really don't. Damn Bush for putting our soldiers in this position. I don't think too many human beings have the character to be part of a 'benevolent' occupying force. Every act of barbarism by our troops confirms this. This nation is going to deal with the consequences of this war for many, many years to come. We're going to have a lot of crippled troops coming home (in more ways than one). Iraq may never recover, and I'm sure some of the more extreme christians will delight that biblical prophesy is fulfilled when Iraq becomes desolate, 'a haunt for jackals'.
