If it been a primary strictly on merit, not only McCain, but every other candidate on the GOP side should have wiped their ass crack with Bush.

The big money guys didn't want anyone who had even a whiff of independent thought or morals, and struggled just to read the teleprompter, so they could keep him on a short leash.

If Jeb gets the pre-primary nod from money guys, he will win at least the primary.
