2. I have such a hard time understanding

why ANYONE would even give 'ol Annie the time of day anymore, let alone listen to a goddamned word she says. She's said so many totally crazy, nutball, out-of-this-world statements, statements that, if a Dem said it they would have been run out of the country after being dipped in boiling oil and covered with feathers, that I just can't believe she's taken the slightest bit seriously.

She craves attention. No one would pay her any if she played her politics mainstream. She's not particularly bright and would soon lose visibility in the media white noise.

Being extreme in her political views (whether she actually believes her nonsense or not) gives her visability. The fact that she is hated by the Left and loved by the Right is what she plays for.

She'd be crushed if no one paid attention to her.
