There is one evil so prevalent that few, if any, preachers have mentioned, and that is: women dressed in men's apparel. It is an evil that is evident in women of all ages, shapes and sizes. Very seldom do you see a woman or a girl wearing a dress.

The word of God says in Deuteronomy 22:5, "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment. For all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God."

Being an abomination to God carries the penalty of eternal hell fire. For we read in Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful and unbelieving and the abominal and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolators and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone."

Now I think all women should be told this, so they can give up this abominable practice so they will not lose their souls over it.

In 1999, a box of her personal papers that she had directed be kept sealed until then was opened, and letters were found that appear to confirm what had long been thought -- that she was a lesbian, and that her long relationship with her companion "Mardie" was a committed and loving one.

Leviticus 20:13 - If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them.

Leviticus 20:10 - "If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death.

Leviticus 11:42 - Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, all the swarming things that swarm upon the earth, you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.

Leviticus 7:21 - And if any one touches an unclean thing, whether the uncleanness of man or an unclean beast or any unclean abomination, and then eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of the LORD's peace offerings, that person shall be cut off from his people."

Leviticus 12:2 - Say to the people of Israel, If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as at the time of her menstruation, she shall be unclean. 5 - But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her menstruation; and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying for sixty-six days.

Leviticus 18:29 - For whoever shall do any of these abominations, the persons that do them shall be cut off from among their people.

It's interesting to note the Jesus of Nazereth, the namesake of modern-day Christianity, did not even address the subject of homosexuality - nor does the Ten Commandments, although both did address the subject of Adultery.

Matthew 5:32 - But I say to you that every one who divorces his wife, except on the ground of unchastity, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Leviticus says that we should put adulterers to death, while Jesus says that anyone who gets a divorce and then remarries - is an Adulterer.

So should everyone who is on their second, third or forth marriage be executed for crimes against God? Clearly we haven't taken this set of scriptures completely to heart - we do not put people to death for getting a divorce and then marrying again.

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's law. I have learned a great deal from you, and I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend homosexuality, for example, I will simply remind him or her that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.
I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other laws in Leviticus and Exodus and how to best follow them.

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Leviticus 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. How should I deal with this?

A friend of mine says that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Leviticus 10:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

Leviticus 20:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

25. There are 13 Churches in Hannaford.
That's 7 Lutheran, 2 Catholic, 2 Evangelical Free, 1 Presbyterian & 1 Assembly of God. Although one of the Lutheran churches has an address of "Rural"--guess it's in the Greater Hannaford area.

Maybe it gives them a framework to compete within. Who is the holiest, and who knows the most bible passages. How would a village survive without this activity?

Their general argument is that without religious influence, people would be running naked in the streets and murdering at whim.

My feeling is that Hannaford probably has nice people living in it, and they would still have nice people living in it without the religious malarkey.

I do this all the time, just so you know. Most people, even the pseudo-Christians, have absolutely no freaking idea what all is contained within the OT books that they so gleefully point to in their condemnation of homosexuality. So in my conversations with people, I ask them if I can stone them myself, or whether I actually have to go through the process of setting up a public stoning for them wearing clothing of mixed cloth. Or I ask them how it feels to know that they'll be burning in Hell along with those awfuls fags for also committing an abomination before God (since eating shrimp and catfish is so very popular in my area).

There are many others as well, since if you've ever read Leviticus you also know that slavery is condoned, menstruating women must be isolated, meat of a non-cloven hoof is forbidden (or is it cloven? I always get mixed up!), etc.

It sounds to me like this guy was being a but subversive. :)
