hated ones, must rank as the first. Look at the ease with which a man named Charles Stuart in Boston was able to divert attention away from him after killing his wife toward black people causing a massive manhunt throughout the black ghettos of Roxbury. And Susan Smith blaming a black man as the kidnapper of her two young children after drowning them in a locked car.
Carrying this logic one step further, why are we unable to connect the dots to the Reichstag Fire of our times, 9/11?

1. Probably because, in many ways, 9/11 got in their way |

Think about the anthrax mailings. We know that was an inside job. We know that had been prepared for a very long time. We know that the first word out of their lying mouths was "Iraq."
Personally, I think they originally planned a much larger mailing as a way to justify their attack on Iraq.
However, the warnings pre 9/11 started to come in and they let it happen. Again, the first word out of their lying mouths was "Iraq."
A few of the anthrax letters went out a week or two later to targets they just couldn't resist, people they wanted to shut up.
Having to go into Afghanistan was a distraction they really didn't want. The whole purpose of what passed for foreign policy was to "finish" the war Daddy Bush started.
However, they've used 9/11 the way they intended to use the anthrax mailing. It's worked very well for them.
