Thomas Friedman on CNBC Now!
Edited on Sat Sep-20-03 09:32 PM by Evanstondem
He just returned from Baghdad and is quite critial of the Administration's lack of control of the country. Gee, I wonder it that has anything to do with being held up at gunpoint on the "I-95" from Badhdad to Amman!

1. Friedman has lost me.
I think it's a repeat from last week. His book from Beirut to Jerusalem is so good, but he has lost all credibility with me. BTW, this should probably be in the GD forum.

2. Oops, didn't know it was a repeat
Should it be in GD because it's a repeat or is there some other reason?

4. I'm afraid of LBN.
I think it has to be news from within the last 24 hours.

3. He lost me with his irrational France-bashing
sickening juvenile garbage I read in the Dallas Morning (Whoring) news today.

6. Is the man Bi-Polar or what?
Edited on Sat Sep-20-03 10:58 PM by Maccagirl
On one hand he sneers about "bombing the Flintstones" and then he says (about I/P) that we must show the terrorists that we are not afraid to kill or be killed. WTF is THAT all about? Is he willing to sacrifice his son or daughter in the Mideast?

8. Send 5th columnist Tommy to Israel!
He loves Israel more than the US, so let him move there, join the IDF then he can kill as many Arabs as he wants!

Friedman is sick

9. Actually . . .
Friedman's discussion was very interesting. He basically said Israel should dismantle the sttlements and build a wall at the 67 border. He lost me on the France article too, but he is a well-traveled interesting fellow.
