Barbara Boxer: What's Next?

Support PAC for a Change today!

Over just these past few weeks, you've been in the trenches with me, and you've seen what we can accomplish together -- beating back a right-wing attempt to circumvent 200+ years of Senate precedent and end the filibuster, as well as fighting George Bush's horrible nomination of John Bolton to be America's next U.N. Ambassador.

With your continued help and hard work, PAC for a Change is going to keep leading the fight on the issues we care about so much, every hour of every day. And at the same time, we've got to think about the long-term, supporting our great Democratic Senators who are up for re-election in 2006, while working to pick up seats in swing states and win open seats.

Your financial support of $250, $100, $50, or whatever you can afford will make a huge difference as we fight, here and now, on the issues that matter -- as well as for our ultimate mission to win back Congress in 2006. While fighting the many battles facing us today, we've also got to make sure we elect more Democrats next November to make these battles easier in the years to come.

Please stand with me in this fight for America's future -- support PAC for a Change today!

We've won some critical, hard-fought victories this past month. But unfortunately, these aren't the last battles we'll have to fight this year -- far from it. The Republican Party has been hijacked by a radical cadre of the most extreme, fringe elements of the right-wing movement. And they're not going to let up on their assault on our mainstream American way of life.

PAC for a Change is going to be on the frontlines of these battles. We're going to be mobilizing hundreds of thousands of Americans to lobby the White House and Congress, ensuring their voices are heard in these important debates. And we're going to be reaching out to hundreds of thousands more Americans, inviting them to join our cause.

We've got to be ready to fight back. That's why I need your support today, before the Senate returns next week.

Please contribute to PAC for a Change today -- and give us the resources we need to get our message out across America!

We've got a lot of work ahead of us. As soon as the Senate reconvenes on Monday, we'll be taking up George Bush's nomination of Janice Rogers Brown to be a federal judge -- someone whose views on women, workers, consumers, senior citizens, children, and the environment are out of the mainstream to the extreme. Then right behind Janice Rogers Brown are more judicial nominations (likely including at least one Supreme Court vacancy), the Bush Administration's terrible energy bill, a final vote on John Bolton's nomination, and many other important issues.

And while we defeated the "nuclear option" for now, like a really bad dream we know it could return at any time.

The only real way to keep such a destructive, disastrous option off the table is to win back seats in the Senate next year. We can start with Rick Santorum -- someone so far out on the right-wing that he even compared the Democrats to Nazis because we didn't support the "nuclear option." Santorum is up for re-election in Pennsylvania in 2006, and the polls show that he's vulnerable.

We've got to do everything we can to win back Santorum's Senate seat next year -- along with plenty more. But we need your financial support to succeed.

Rick Santorum, Bill Frist, Mitch McConnell, and other GOP leaders are raising millions of dollars through their PACs to try to protect their Senate majority. But with your help, PAC for a Change is going to go toe-to-toe with them, exposing the truth that these right-wing extremists are trying to hide.

Please support PAC for a Change today -- and help us fight back against the radical right-wing!

Thank you so much for your friendship and support. As part of the Boxer family, you give me the courage and energy to keep going, day after day, even if I have to stand up alone sometimes.

Now let's keep fighting. The future of our country is at stake, and we must never give up.

In Friendship,

Barbara Boxer
