Where is the Lef'ts "Arkansas Project?" |
|
When will the left grow some balls and take these crooks down? You can't tell me there isn't enuf material?
Where is our fishing expedition? Where are our David Brocks? Who is our Mellon Scaife? Why don't we have any of these?
This presidency gives the left an opportunity to deal a death blow to the Republican coalation but it seems like nobody has stepped up to the plate.

And any way you look at it, Gore won the popular vote.
People did not like the Clinton impeachment. If bad things happened, it was because of something else.

The arkansas project just wasnt' about getting him impeached. Every major baseless scandal that was surfaced regarding the clintons all got funding from Scaife's Arkansas project. IT was a coordinated attempt to shutdown his presidency, and it worked.
Clinton could have got so much more accomplished had he not had to deal with all this shit being thrown at him from Scaife's Arkansas project.
Gore would have won in a landslide had it not been from this propoganda effort. To a lot of independant voters Gore would have been continuation of the "Clinton sleaze presidency".
The Arkansas project was a huge sucess.

7. The Democratic candidate had a bigger percentage of votes in 2000... |
|
...than any other Democratic candidate since 1976.
We weren't hurt by the Arkansas Project.
This is an example of how something that would be emotionally pleasing would not be good strategy.

6. I think you need to read about the Arkansas project. |
|
Move on is not an underground attempt to investigates Bush's past and bring him down.

We don't need a fishing expedition. We've got the case and the evidence to support it.
What we don't have is Congressmen with the chutzpah to push it. Besides, Congress is not only controlled by Republicans, but by Republicans who think either that Bush talks to God or that Bush is God.
What we don't have is a free and independent press that will report it. The press is owned by the same people who have foot the bill for Mr. Bush's political career and they've still got a stake in their investment.
And Bush is right about one thing: the United Nations is irrelevant because it has taken no action on Iraq. For the UN to be relevant, it would have to resolve to support international law and conventions and convene an international tribunal for war crimes in Iraq and the war on terror in order to prosecute Mr. Bush and his aides for launching an unjustified war of aggression and for violating conventions regarding torture and inhumane treatment of battlefield detainees.
