I get a thrill out of seeing people who have fought tooth and nail to support Bush come around to our side. This is one example of someone who has done just that on another board I've frequented since the "war".
"...as along time republican and democrat and ted kennedy hater, i have to admit that kennedy is making more sense than bush. bush is out of control!!! if all the politicians in congress don't get together to stop this foolishness, then we are all doomed. i just can't stand all the lies coming out of the white house and nobody is trying to do anything to correct the problems."
These attitude changes are very important because it's people like this who are likely to influence others to come around.

conservatives are beginning to realize that Bush is not a conservative, at least by their definition. They cherish the Constitution, and want a balanced budget. They realize that what Bush is doing is going to bankrupt the country and turn it into a facist state.

2. Yes, the Bushies and Neocons are radicals, revolutionaries |

They don't want to "fix" the government or help America. They want to destroy it and replace it with another kind of government after their own image. Read the intro to Krugman's latest book, he lays it all out very clearly. And using the doctoral thesis of Kissinger, of all people, to help illustrate his point. Amazing.
