Americans think the whole Koran thingy has blown over? NOT!

Bangladeshi Muslim women in veils holding copies of the holy 'Koran' join a protest march against the reported desecration of the holy Koran by U.S soldiers in military prison in Guantanamo Bay and in an Iraqi mosque in Dhaka on June 3, 2005.

1. Just people looking for attention. You do not see these same
people getting upset when a Muslim blows up a Mosque and worshippers. Wonder how many Korans they have blown up. This is all staged drivel.

2. Interesting response
Wonder what sort of response it will engender. But certainly some of this is theater, as you say.

But symbols have meaning. If they get upset over the United States flushing a Koran down the toilet, maybe it is because they feel that, symbolically, that is what we have done to their entire culture.

"Just people looking for attention????????" Sorry, but I disagree, in the extreme.

3. Let's try an experiment:
have someone in a Muslim country flush a Bible down a toilet and have that reported on Faux News.

Just wondering how long it would take to 'blow over.'

7. I do not think people would care as much. The Koran has a different
meaning to its followers. The actual physical Koran is considered holy. Christians consider the contents holy and not the paper of the book. To each their own...
