Impeachment must originate in the House.

3. Maybe Conyers could start?
In any event, I'd like to see the Dems start down that road. Let the GOP shut them down and look like partisan hacks.

9. Conyers could have something to do with it
Conyers is a member of the Judiciary Committee. He sat on the panel 31 years ago when articles were recommended against Nixon.

He is probably still gathering his case. This is something where one has to have his ducks in line, especially if one is going to launch an impeachment drive against a President whose party control both Houses of Congress. The case against Bush would have to be seruious and overwhelming, to say the least.

Of course, I think it is serious and overwhelming.

2. no, they're putting words in his mouth.
He didn't say anything about impeachment, at least yet anyway, just that he'd bring up the memo on Monday.

7. Link doesn't work. Why bother with impeachment? Kerry should
just announce that the election was stolen, that the troops in Iraq should stand down until he can negotiate their safe conduct out of Iraq and that he is setting up a government in exile until his army and navy are back here.

10. Inaccurate
Kerry is going to raise this, presumably as a member of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee. Nothing was said about impeachment by Kerry, especially as a Senator has nothing to do with raising impeachment.

Of course any wrong doing found by Kerry upon investigation could be turned over tlo the appropriate House committee to investiagte impeachment, but that would be premature from Kerry's perspective.

12. If Kerry ...
pushes for impeachment you know The Repugs, Limpballs, and RW nutcases will start screaming "Sore Loser" and try to discredit him. It will be better that Conyers pushes for impeachment or someone else.

14. No
In the interview Kerry did he only said he was going to investigate the minutes. The only politican who has mentioned impeachment is Ralph Nader.
