Ed Schultz is based in my city. Should we get an Air America affiliate?? |
|
I mean, it's only a metro of 200,000 people, but his show is VERY popular, and it would be nice to add Randi Rhodes and others to the mix in a city that is served daily the Right Wing Taco Shit Variety Platter.
Unfortunately the best candidate, KFGO AM 790, is a ClearChannel station, so they're out of the question.

1. Actually Portland's AAR is Clearchannel |

and it's amazingly successful. Proof that even a scumsucking corporate slimeball like Clearchannel can swing in the right direction if it helps the dollars roll in.
Yes...you should get an AAR Affiliate.

and we recently got a Progressive talk station here. The station is a Clear Channel owned entity which has several other stations in the same building. So don't despair, it can happen there too. Call, email, do what you need to so you can get AAR and/or Democracy Radio. Stephanie Miller, 8-11 A.M. CDT, is only great. She's syndicated by the same company that syndicates Big Ed. Good luck. And keep up the good fight.
