How stupid do we look when Hannity and O'Reilly

are seen all over the world, and most in these other countries perceive them as being valid personalities espousing political views.
I spoke with a family friend recently (Irish) and was asked about these two.
He asked me about how they have a TV show that is so watched when any sane person with the slightest bit of education would turn them off because of the garbage they spew.
He said they came across as absolute fools that would not last five minutes in a debate with one of the political reporters that cover Irish politics. He had read about and seen Galloway speaking to the investigation on Oil for Food and gave him as an example as to the standards that the journalist must be prepared to confront.
The case of the young RTE reporter that gave Bush a tough time because he evaded questions came up. She was doing her job because they do not accept political pre-rehearsed mumbo jumbo. Bush was the one that was rude and the part that got the biggest laugh was the demand from the admin for an apology.
Last but not least we came to talk about Coulter. He knows her and switches her off every time she appears. His claim which I absolutely agree with is that she does not contribute anything to a debate. She is full of vile hate. She has marginalized the country and as far as he is concerned she is a dangerous person. She is akin to the Balki, wrestler deal a few years back. A fake. She laughs while delivering the most contemptible comments giving her an excuse to say that she was joking. However, she had her message delivered.
The rest of the world see what we have turned into. When will our citizen see the same and act?

all those people make me hang my head in shame when I think of the rest of the world watching them and thinking "WTF?"

I heard someone say recently "if I didn't live in America, I would probably HATE America."

I had to sadly agree. Looking at it from the outside must be 1000 times worse.

All I can say to the rest of the world is there ARE Americans who still use their brains, who still have true compassion, and who don't fall for the reich-wing bullshit lies.
