speech. They came screaming in here like a bunch of babies on Monday morning, that was enough to tell you it was a flop.

Biden clearly identified Fox as being advocates for the wealthy.
I don't think I've ever seen that before, where the guest treats his interviewer like a debating opponent. I wish they all did that, instead of keeping up the silly sham of Fox being a real news network, and the Fox reporters being real reporters.
And Biden repeatedly laughed in Snow's face. "Destroying" is exactly the right word. Snow was no match for Biden.
edit: what was the thing about the 7-11 operators? It almost sounded like Snow was saying that's who benefits from the tax cuts for the rich, but can even Snow think we're that stupid?

11. Biden Supported Bush's War |
|
Biden thought the war would go well and be over quickly. He voted for it, thinking people would soon forget their disagreement with him. The war didn't go well and people haven't forgotten.
Biden got out of the presidential race even before he got in. This is a smart politician! Unlike Lieberman, Kerry et al., Biden saw the writing on the wall.

Biden thought the war would go well and be over quickly. He voted for it, thinking people would soon forget their disagreement with him.
I think he didn't realize... or didn't want to imagine... that the administration would act without the support of our allies.
Right after 9/11, Biden came to the University of Delaware to talk with the students. He told them that the terrorists weren't a vast force... that they were a few hundred people who could be taken care of without involving any of the draft-age students or vast numbers of young people in war.
I really think that Joe has a hard time believing that anyone is not just as honest as he is... and he IS really an honest person.
Really, although we all knew from the git-go that Bush is a mess, how many of us could have predicted that things could possibly have gotten this bad this quickly?
Biden got out of the presidential race even before he got in. This is a smart politician!
Well, dang! After seeing the depths to which the Bush administration can sink, who in his/her right mind would want to put themselves and their families through everything that they will try in order to win? IMO, the ten Democratic candidates are among some of the most courageous folks on the planet!
Joe has a job as long as he wants it. We in Delaware think he's outstanding... plus, the best the Republicans can find to run against him is a born-again Christian with all the trimmings thereof. No contest! I want to see Joe representing us in the Senate and think the country needs him right where he is.

17. Hey, LeahMira, WELCOME to DU! |
|
Biden was a disappointment on Iraq. He's been a disappointment in his defense, at least up til lately, of the bushies' policies. But I remember him farther back than this, and overall, he was pretty good. That's why I currently view him as a disappointment. I guess he was one OF MANY who bought into the bush policies and juggernaut and lies, and has now had a turnaround. I'm glad he's returning to his earlier ways. I'm glad he continues to hold off his competition in Delaware. I just don't like seeing a guy I usually like - capitulating to these schmucks the way he has. But he's certainly not the only one. MUCH relieved to see he's back from the Dark Side. There IS redemption.
Besides, it's about time somebody laughed in the face of a FAUX pretender. We, AND THEY, need FAR MORE of that! They're the ones who need to be marginalized and demonized and scorned and smirked at.

I would have thought Lieberman would be on his list. Does Lieberman have any significant support left, if Biden seems to have ruled him out?
