Wal-Mart has a new sales strategy
"The fact is that Wal-Mart is as concerned about doing the right thing as tobacco companies are concerned about the health of Americans," he added.

That line speaks volumes. No such thing as a healthy cigarette and tobacco companies denied health issues for decades. So if Wal-Mart follows tobacco strategy, they will soon carry a disclaimer, on the side of it's merchandise, telling buyers that their taxes allow for the low,low prices because their employees are on Medicaid.

1. I heard a WalMart commercial on TV tonight
I wasn't watching, but it was a bunch of people talking about how WalMart had "saved" their town, and they had "built this thing from the ground up," and how they pretty much worshipped WalMart and would lay down their lives for them, or, at the very least, surrender their first-born to the corporation in gratitude for the fabulous jobs they now had.

Walmart. The New Jesus.

5. "built this thing from the ground up,"
In about three weeks. Probably just outside a city's limits for tax purposes. Just like mine.

2. Wal-Mart will soon be selling Chinese made cars for $5000 apiece
As a bonus those cars will come filled with cigarette cartons.

Great strategy if you think about it.

3. Perhaps buying "Blue" is having an effect.
A one day general strike would send the message a lot clearer, though.

4. Just to clarify

That tobacco quote was from an anti-Walmart activist, not a Walmart representative. (In case anyone misunderstood your post - I know I did, at first.)
