Who thinks Rummy will try to quit before they release the pics?
Things are going to get ugly later this month, when the military releases the additional pictures... Some one needs/will go down for this?

Who shall it be?

1. Quitting his position will not exempt him from prosecution
for the crimes he committed by giving the okay to torture.

2. Wait until those May army/marine enlistment stats come out
Condi has had to keep her mouth shut rather than do her scripted job of provoking war with the rest of the world since we don't have anymore soldiers to fight on another front!

Once the public realizes that Rummy has eviscerated our armed forces, in might start to sink in with voters that, just maybe, Rummy isn't good for our military.

3. Quit? No way!
Shrub will be handing out another metal of freedom, and singing his praises before the press.

Never admit guilt, obfuscate, obfuscate, obfuscate.

4. If the photos are as grizzly and humiliating as rumored, and Dubya --
-- KEEPS Rumsfeld, progressives will not be entirely surprised but our allies and other nations will rightly assume we are "bloodthirsty beasts," to quote Kim Jong-Il, of all people.

If the spineless press is not going to hold these folks accountable, historians and biographers will.

I imagine they're filling up their ink wells as we speak.

I respect him, and think that he has discovered that he is in too deep. ---sort of like the Mafia, and he cant get out now without going to Jail for a long time.

13. Then let him fly to the Hague and give himself up
We accepted the Ford pardon of Nixon rather than treating it as a civic outrage (although it surely cost Ford the election). We failed to impeach and try Reagan and his gang for their treason with the ayatollahs and their murderous dealings in Latin America. Political leaders must be held accountable for their great crimes. By failing to do that, what lesson did we teach those admirers who came after them?

6. A PFC women and 2 West Vir. Nat. G. guys
It has got to be a 'group think' thing as all over the world USA military of low rank dreamed this up and some how made all these head bags (Made in China I bet) and off they went .The real scary part is that the officers in our services do not know what any of the lower ranks are doing. This is saying even more about them, right? So far I have not heard one person who does not think this goes right up the rank to the top.

11. More photos and Videos from Abu Ghraib....
Army told to release videos, more photos from Abu Ghraib
Friday, June 03, 2005
Associated Press

New York - A judge has ordered the government to release four videos from Abu Ghraib prison and dozens of photographs from the same collection as photos that touched off the Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal a year ago.

The federal judge issued the order late Wednesday requiring the Army to release the material to the American Civil Liberties Union to comply with the Freedom of Information Act.

The ACLU said the material would show that the abuse was "more than the actions of a few rogue soldiers."

18. He is an ignoramus
Didn't he also say that lower enlisted soldiers "serve no useful purpose?" He almost made them sound like they were in the way or something.

I can't understand why there hasn't been a mutiny yet. Probably because they don't know he said that, since they are only allowed to watch Faux news. x(

19. War Crimes

Rumsfailed Admitted to Violating Geneva Convention

Rumsfailed admitted in public on TV that when CIA Director Tenet requested that an Iraqi prisoner be sent to a secret Afghan/US Prison that Rumsfailed did so. After four months a DOD Attorney stated that this was an illegal act. Rumsfailed then ordered that this prisoner be sent back to Abu Graihib but the prisoner was purposefully not listed at that location, also an illegal act. Rumsfeld also admitted to signing orders for tougher interogation methods which violated the Geneva Conventions.

Rumfailed has commited at least three violations of the Geneva Convention thereby also violations of The Constitution of the USA. Recently it has been found out that even more detainees were "ghost detainees". The fact that Rumsfailed and Tenet have not been charged speaks volumes. If Congress wishes to garner any respect they should move forward with Rep. Rangle's Impeachment Declaration of Rumsfailed and also proscecute Ex. CIA Tenet.

Does the US, Govt., Congress, and the Justice Dept no longer abide by the Geneva Convention or the Constitution of the USA?

Rumsfeld Issues a Sharp Rebuke to China on Arms

By THOM SHANKER
Published: June 4, 2005
SINGAPORE, Saturday, June 4 - Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, in an unusually blunt public critique of China, said Saturday that Beijing's military spending threatened the delicate security balance in Asia and called for an emphasis instead on political freedom and open markets.

In a keynote address at an Asian security conference here, Mr. Rumsfeld argued that China's investment in missiles and up-to-date military technology posed a risk not only to Taiwan and to American interests, but also to nations across Asia that view themselves as China's trading partners, not rivals.

He said no "candid discussion of China" could neglect to address these military concerns directly, and criticized China for not admitting the full extent of what he described as its worrisome military expansion.

"Since no nation threatens China, one wonders: why this growing investment?" Mr. Rumsfeld asked.
