Deep throat: Case NOT closed! (Keith Olbermann)

So Bob Woodward has told his version.

And it's not that interesting. At times it reads less like "All The President's Men" and more like Ted Baxter's autobiography (you know: "It all started in a 5,000-watt radio station in Fresno, California").

Well, in this case, it all ends— at least until his book comes out next month— in a 5,000-word article in The Washington Post. Beaten to the Deep Throat scoop by his own source, Woodward's revenge was an 87-paragraph anecdote that goes into painstaking detail about how he met Mark Felt, but almost none about how he turned what Felt told him into the backbone of the Watergate coverage he and Carl Bernstein authored.

Most importantly, it is being greeted with exactly the reverse reaction it deserves. Identifying Mark Felt is a satisfying detail— it is anything but a conclusion. And that’s because it doesn’t take anything but common sense to realize, as one can now visualize the face on the Deep Throat painting, that the gallery in which it hangs must be full of other people.

Deep Throat could not have acted alone......

1. B-I-N-G=O for Keith

This is a ROVE/Poppy shell game IMO.

They all know that it went much deeper with real names for players like GHW BUSH and the future NeoCons In Waiting.

They know that Felt is not going to be judged mentally capable to tell the complete story so, his family makes some $$'s,the American people keep sleeping and Bobby Woodward writes his new book for more $$'s and still sits in the hip pocket of the BUSHCO Gang.

We still need to hear a better answer from Woodward about his connections with the CIA. Bet that song and dance will have a hard time getting over unless he has his fingers crossed.

4. What holes?
I'm asking respectfully. I think that it makes a lot of sense, although I think that it has to be viewed outside of the context that Woodward presents. I think a number of questions have been answered, and that many pieces fall into place.

5. Woodward's saving the good stuff -
- for his book that will now be coming out in July, I believe. The WP article was just a tease.

6. I see holes as big as swiss cheese

* He needed lots of help and I do believe he got it
* Interesting that he comes out just as the Chimps Poll Numbers are sinking. Someone wants that to NOT work in the favor of the Democrats. Let's watch for Rove's next shoe to drop.

* Why did his family "suddenly" decide to tell the story after "his mind is not as reliable as it once was?" Know no one can ever hear the real story and question him.

Do I believe he was a hero? YES!

Anyone that had guts enough to spill the beans on Nixon will have my love forever. I just wish he had a twin that would get BushCO out of office.

That would be a happy day!
