The Minutes: We need the world behind us |
|
We need to let them know anyway. The only way enough republican congressmen or senators are going to turn on Bush/Cheney/Rummy is if there is a clear sense of "The world is watching". Verbal support from some world leaders wouldn't hurt either. I know it is the UK press brought this to light so we hopefully will have a significant voice in Britan as well. We need the perception that the shrub admin isn't just bad for America but for all international stability. It just so happens to be true as well. We just need to get our own countrymen to believe it.

if you're going to dream. dream big. I think international pressure might help jar our own people from their slumber. this thing is rapidly snowballing though. more than I originally thought it would anyway.

We do need the world behind this, though our media will still strive to ignore it. The more it is out there, the better. Where is the Canadian, Japanese, and Australian press on this?
