did the jacket throwing video of bush ever appear?
a week or two ago, after a rally where he was exposed to protestors, he supposedly got pissed and threw down his union jacket and it was on tape.. did this ever materialize or did they erase it before anyone could view it?

5. That would have been fun to watch.
I've noticed that that this man has a very shaky control of his emotions.

Question: how can you expect to lead others, when you can't even control yourself? Also, what was he doing with a union jacket?

12. It was Labor Day. Ohio. Pouring buckets. Everyone was cranky.
*'s appearance didn't go well, hence the petulance of throwing the jacket. I remember this and thanks for bringing up the question again, I too would love too have seen this apocryphal video.

13. a bit more context...

according to the story at the time, * actually had to travel past PROTESTORS... and that was the straw that brought on jr's tantrum

8. now you know why
they keep protesters far from the chimps eyes. his confidence will crumble if he KNOWS that we don't like him as his mother does.

14. It sounded too good to be true...
I'm not doubting the existance of such a video. It is just that it would have been too incredible for campaign ads next year--we would never be so lucky.

Maybe Larry Flynt can offer a million for THAT video.

18. there's probably a video
and the FBI has probably been spending millions of our tax dollars tracking it down for confiscation and incineration. not that such a thing would appear in the press anyway... the media knows that's a hanging offense.

19. The video, if it exists, hasn't surfaced yet.
It was reported on one of the area radio stations that someone had the temper tantrum on video. The video has not been found. The reporter said he thinks it may have been a hoax.

As one of those DUers who stood in the rain that day, I want the story to be true. This much is a fact. We never thought we would get that close to the motorcade. Bush could not have missed seeing and hearing us. He didn't get the reception that he hoped for that day.
