"The Daily Show" bit at Crooks and Liars- question.
"Crooks and Liars" has video from "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" about an event honoring Tom DeLay which took place a while ago.

Was this "Daily Show" bit part of Thursday's broadcast?

1. Jon had the bit about Delay on his Wednesday show.
Where the repugs were singing "If I Had a Hammer" and Jon said if DeLay had a hammer he would bludgeon Pete Seeger to death.

Pretty sure that was Wednesday, June 1. I couldn't get the video to play back to verify.

4. No, the show wasn't a re-run, TDS was new shows this week.
Think Stewart was just getting around to showing the DeLay clip. The show was in reruns for two weeks and they have a lot of catching up to do.

Don't know when the repugs were warbling an anti-war song for an asswipe but it was shown on a new show.

Wednesday night's show was classic TDS. If should be required viewing for every American.

9. Yes the early version of the night before which was
Wedsnesday's 11:00 PM show (or Tuesday's but I saw it as a rerun). It is now on against olberman instead of Matthews. sigh!

6. cc re-runs jon's show at least twice so you may
be able to catch it again. last week's shows will be re-run after his regularly scheduled show this week. we get new shows at 11 p.m. with re-runs of the prior week's show at 11:30. they also re-run current shows the next day (which won't help you with this episode) at 7 p.m.

7. I think the first 1/2 hour is new and the second is rerun from previous
night. At least I think that is what airs in AZ.
