What will you tell your grandchildren?
Edited on Sat Jun-04-05 03:59 PM by Bouncy Ball
I've long suspected that the bush administration and the people behind it are lying criminals, but after reading everything that has come out about Bolton and weapons inspections, the Downing Street Minutes, and everthing else, I know one thing for fact:

I am living under the biggest, most devious, most dishonest, most ignoble group of flat-out criminals to have EVER occupied high office in the history of the United States.

Someone tell me if there has EVER been a more craven bunch in charge of this country. Anyone more guilty of war crimes? Anyone more guilty of crimes against humanity? Anyone more guilty of crimes against their country? I am searching through all of the presidential administrations back to Washington and not coming up with ANY as bad. These guys make the Nixon administration look like Amateur Night. And up until now, THEY were considered the worst. And it's not lost on me that many of the same people who were up and coming under Nixon are the ones with blood on their hands now.

It's funny---you go along knowing something like this, yet sometimes it just hits you out of the clear, blue sky: criminals are running America, MY country, the country of my birth, the country I love. People whose lies and scheming have caused literally thousands of innocent deaths. And it's a moment when your blood runs cold and your skin crawls. The very people screaming that everyone else is un-American, screaming that everyone else are traitors is TERRIFIED of having the mirror held up to their own faces. They hope you will be so occupied defending yourself against nothing that you don't notice the body parts strewn everywhere, the money stolen from the American people. Stolen right out of their hands.

This is not hyperbole. This is fact. I've never been so disgusted and terrified at the same time in all my life. If there were any justice in the world, bush and his cronies would not only be run out of office on a rail, they'd be behind bars for life for the destruction they have WILLINGLY caused and the deception they have regularly engaged in against the American people and the people of the world.

1. Yeah, that's how it feels, although the fuckers don't terrify me, I'm
too old for that, but I fear for my children and grandchildren.

2. I don't know if I chose the right word when I said
"terrified." But I do get chills. All over chills. Not when I think of bush voters so much--too many of them are just willfully ignorant.

But when I think of all the bush people in power now. And if they are willing to do what I've watched them do so far, what else are they willing/planning to do?

THAT'S the part that wakes me up at night.

3. Here, worry about this, * is just a sock-puppet for the Repugs.
He's just a moron who does the bidding of others. Ask yourself this, would the Rethugs whack him if it served their ends? Make him a martyr around 2006 election time, then have Cheney appoint Frist as V.P.?

4. Hope to see you tonight at the Roadhouse dinner!

Cheers to you!

The same criminals are back and running things. How in God's name did we the people ever allow this to happen? Where are our elected officials in all this? This is why Granny D is my inspiration, she walked across the US, took a year plus and was arrested in the Rotunda while she recited from our Constitution along with 15 others that day in April. She has always said we need to be vigilant and we need to clean HOUSE! Brooms and mops are all we need!

on edit:

I forgot to add, en masse!

6. You can tell your grandchildren that you were in the resistence

You fought with the rebels from the democratic underground. Where you even met President Skinner when he was still a youngster.

7. LOL!
I signed Conyer's petition. That's a point of pride for me. And I'll be glad to be able to tell my children "yes, I resisted."
