Good ole MS-RNC, they never fail to remain in form
Edited on Sun Sep-21-03 10:54 AM by chaumont58
Look at this Sunday's Meet the Press. Fat Tim the slug assembles a well balanced panel. It consist of two hardcore wingnuts(Safier and Novak) against two middle of the road LA Times reporters. Ron Brownstein and Robin Wright are two of the best political reporters in this country, this represents balance? A repuke is a repuke is a repuke is a repuke, all the time, 24/7. All else takes a back seat.
I would like to know how the guest are scheduled on the talking head shows. Do they always check with Karl Rove first? Are they so good at doing repuke work that they don't even need to check-in any more?
Fuck Fat Tim and the horse he rode in on. He's a repuke himself.

2. I'd love to hear one person ask Novak
how he feels about outing a CIA operative, and ask him WHO told him that name, that information.Little Annie Coulter can then use him on the cover of her next book about REAL treasonists.Maybe in an alternate universe......

8. I hope that comes back to haunt him....
He should face serious felony charges for divulging that information.

3. Hasn't that always been SOP?
Seat pundits on the right and working journalists who have to worry that anything stronger than mild advocacy will blow their cred for impartiality on the left?

4. Yes, Timmy's bad, but it's just as bad or worse all over the networks.
On ABC, William Buckley was allowed to opine about how wonderful RAygun was and those damn anti-American lefties. Juan Williams, so-called liberal of NPR, was on Faux saying how great Bush is. Blah, blah, blah. Sunday morning TV is like talk radio: It is merely preaching to a specific audience, not trying to give us the news or analysis. Corporations who know who butters their bread.

5. The country needs a Who's Who of CABAL FACILITATORS...
Edited on Sun Sep-21-03 11:11 AM by higher class
rated on their ability to lie...blatantly, slyly, stupidly, wily, stubbornly, patriotic only to the CABAL, never for all the people of this land. They are AGENTS OF THE CABAL. This association is a takeover and the is heading us down to the destruction of what the United States is supposed to be about.

MS-RNC is apt and perfect for the NBCs.

FOX should just be called MIU - MURDOCH IMBALANCED UNFAIR

6. Safire outdid himself today
with his berserk mutterings about Clark being a straw man for the Clintons. Then, of course, the other nitwits join in and soon enough you have a good old-fashioned Hillary bash.
These people can't seem to help themselves.

10. any effective reporter by definition is liberal
Edited on Sun Sep-21-03 12:20 PM by librechik
therefore, they are scheduled to respond to the viciously partisan RWers on these group discussions.

It's the acceptance of the liberal media lie which has caused us all this trouble the last 30 years. It's all because the media dared to attack Nixon. The Right has been dedicated ever since to destroying it out of revenge, with no sympathy for it's role in the checks and balance system. They feel they have the right, because they have succeeded in defining the media as liberal, therefore it has no credibility no matter how weak and non partisan it is.

I don't know what to do about this. It seems hopeless. MTP today was a low point for sure.
