MILESTONE: I got my first nasty neocon note today!!!

To preface this, my car has a Kerry/Edwards sticker, a Gore/Lieberman sticker, and two other stickers that say "Proud to be a Democrat" and "Vote Democrat: the (picture of a donkey here) you save may be your own."

I was out walking some trails at a state park today, and when I got back to the car, my friend said, "What the hell? Didn't we get a parking pass?"

I said, "We sure did."

He said, "Then why do you have a ticket?" Then he picked a piece of paper from under the windshield wiper. It was part of a parking permit, and I turned it over. In block letters on the other side, it said,

YOU LOST THE WAR + THE ELECTION "LIFES A BITCH"

As tired as I was from the hike, I laughed and laughed. It was hilarious! First, what war did I lose? Second, hasn't this "moran" ever heard of an apostrophe? Apparently not. Third, leaving a note instead of sticking around to tell me what he thought in person? That's pretty much Chickenhawk Lite. Hilarious! I just wish he'd seen the reaction.

I can just SEE the guy in his rebel flag T-shirt, scratching his beard in fury as he drives his Ford F-150 (festooned with yellow ribbon magnets) back home, bitching about "them damn libruls" and stopping to fill his gas tank up with $2 gas in a complete state of oblivion while looking at the gun rack in his cab and thinking "I wish I was one of them Minutemen except fer shootin' libruls instead of Mexykins!"

I don't get the "you lost the war" part... lost what war? last time a Democrat was president and we had a war: Roosevelt, Wilson ... Didn't lose those wars. "lost" or "unfishished" wars: Korea = Eisenhower (R), Vietnam = Nixon (R), Gulf War = GHWB (R)
seems like they've got the problem winning wars... probably because they hate America.
