Running on generator here, nasty storms w/ many power lines down
Northeast Okla, 30 mi. E of Tulsa...all our neighbors houses are real dark. One tree out back got blown over but not any tornado type damage.

1. May you all be safe.
I'm never leaving New York. We have manageable weather.

2. Thanks...we're pretty much used to it. And we don't get nor'-easters.

3. That's very scary! Is this affecting Tulsa?
I am a foster mom for a charity called Small Paws Rescue for Bichon dogs, and the President lived in Tulsa. I know you get some really rough weather on those flat lands. I hope everyone is going to be OK!

4. Yes, the storms came this way from over in Tulsa, the TV says there are
16000 houses without power. I guess they got 75 mph winds but at least this time no tornado and no hail...a few weeks ago they got hail as big as tennis balls, messed up a lot of stuff...

6. Lots of lightning here
I am north of Tulsa. We had some storms earlier and it keeps looking like it will get bad, then we are spared! Thankfully! I hope things return to normal for you soon!

7. I think you're outta the woods, we have a bit more on the way according
to the weatherbug radar. Had to reset the generator, we forgot to shut off the air conditioner, it tried to kick on and tripped the gen's breaker...we feel sorry for all our neighbors out here in the lakeside community using candles & transistor radios. ;-)

8. I think we are done, except for wind.
The Eastern part of the state still has at least 2 more hours of this crap! I just hope it doesn't blow back. My brother always said..."A storm from the east will be a beast." :)
