10. "Why are we militarizing space? Raytheon (etc.)"
"We should be concentrating on health, clean air and water...instead we are the world's leading arms exporter...some weapons even used agianst our troops."

Now idiot woman caller talking about muslims who've "hijacked the Koran" and "we need to get OUR democracy working over there." :wtf: She's insane.

6. not a big Nader fan but he slammed that bush whore good
"I support bush 100%" - he said you should never support ANY politician 100% - because that's when they turn their back on you. SO TRUE.

Nader is framing the DSM and the anti-war message well
Since he is neither pro * or pro Democrat, he may well be able to influence some moderate GOP voters.

"This a runaway administration." So true.

20. "runaway administration"
good one. we should consider repeating that one incessantly.

Look. . . Nadar may have played an unwitting role in seemingly subverting our democracy but face it, had he not been a player these selfish bozos would have inacted their "precious" coup of '00 regardless through their undeniably nefarious means . They just would have just simply delegitimized more votes. I truly believe that. Please don't try to convince me of anything otherwise.

We have to focus on the present, and he is still one of the few honest and acutely intelligent voices we have left.

He's always been super smart and has always called a spade a shovel and I will forever admire him for that.

He's always been a consistant voice against corporatism.

Bless him for that.

Corporatism is our biggest problem not only to both parties but to our country at large right now . . .that is aside from the voting machines of course. IMHO

If you flame me for this assertion I simply won't respond.

Have never commented on Nadar here before and may not ever again and never, ever, ever voted for him. May have liked to. I just think we have inadvertantly muted one of the guys who has been on the side of the people since long before most of us were born, based on an outcome that was preordained by the powers that be. Not by his volition.

Have a nice day

8. One advantage Nader has....
He's immune to charges that he was a supporter of Clinton's policies. As one caller accused him of suppoting action in Bosnia.

9. The idiot caller who complained about Clinton/Bosnia also went on to
repeat the lie about "3,000 dead because of Saddam's terrorist ties". Nader babbled on about "We are a nation of laws..etc..etc." and never corrected the woman.

14. Let's see if he responds to the GOP caller who wants to impeach congress.
He tells the caller you can't impeach congress. That they have the power of impeachment and they are abdicating their responsibility. (idiot GOP caller

He mentioned democracyrising.us and afterdowningstreet.org and johnconyers.com

Caller from London: "Moral inconsistency of * and Blair administrations goes further than Iraq...fabricating the parameters of a terrorist network.." Oh my, very interesting thoughts/theories about MIHOP Uh oh, the host cut the caller off and Nader didn't get to respond.

22. It was sad.
He was obviously too busy getting his talking points ready to actually listen to her.

He should have nailed her, as any one of us would have.

Instead he came across as a typical politician. I don't like him when he's in that mode--and I've voted for him (2000, safe state).

15. Check our DU CSPAN forum.
Someone there may be able to guide you to a link. There may be video links at the CSPAN website. Post a question over that forum. The CSPAN schedule and other info is posted there daily.

Seems to me, laying out the case for impeachment is a good thing regardless of who is doing it. Nader does lay it out quite clearly.

18. As Nader pointed out....
People have forgotten that the troops were sent into Iraq without enough water to drink. Families were shipping bottled water to their troops because they were so unprepared. A point worth remembering.

19. All GOP callers blame the CLENIS for everything.
Edited on Sun Jun-05-05 09:03 AM by CottonBear
GOP woman caller says that "* administration will go down in history as one of our best."
Bwahahahahahahah!

Nader says no one is exonerating the Clinton admisitration (re: food and medicine shortages in Iraq during sanction/no fly zone period) but that Clinton did not mean to invade Iraq when he spoke about ssaddam being removed.

He's talking election fraus, Jeb Bush, K. Harris and Ohio! :woohoo:

edit: In response to the last caller, GOP has everything so rigged that they will not loose and the Dems and the GOP are too alike...we need more third party candidates...the American people need to do their homework (become educated) and fight the good fight and declare our independence and (address) the (important issues that face us today) .

21. Nader also said he believed that Gore won Florida. That Jeb
and Katherine Harris stole the election for Chimpy (paraphrasing here). It was quite clear he was saying that election fraud was used to get Chimpy in office.
