1. Online Polls Mean Nothing, But
I am buoyed a little bit by the much higher positives, and scarcely higher negatives, that Clark has among the apparently more-informed netizens.

5. Strangely, they really do mean something.
I'm with you that they aren't scientific and mean nothing as information. But some of these unscientific polls actually get reported on TV where they affect public opinion. No one listens to the disclaimer that they are unscientific.

Love your posts, DTH!

3. Man, look at question 2 - BOTH online and Newsweek polls
have majorities saying they don't want bush "re-elected."

Of course, that's kind of faulty anyway, since he really wasn't "elected" to begin with.

4. Clark's name recognition: MUCH higher online versus offline
Edited on Sun Sep-21-03 12:22 PM by DrBB
Damned interesting. Among the (nonscientific) online sample the numbers disfavoring Bush are overwhelmingly higher (getting worse since I checked this poll this am), and the recognition and approval for Clark also higher. Seems promising if he's going to be leaning on the internet to get up to speed with the others, contribution-wise.

edit: I can spell, honest.
