I think we can all agree that idiot son is in charge of nothing. He is a stupid man who's only purpose is to stand in front of cameras and babble deflective innanities.


Some speculate that Cheney is the force behind the throne. The wizard controlling the Oz that is idiot son. I think he's really working for Poppy to prevent idiot son from actually trying to do anything. In the end, Cheney's just a hired gun.


Rove is no more or less than a stage manager and scripter. He paves the way for them to keep power and accomplish what needs to be accomplished, but he isn't allowed near a policy. He's another hired hand, and one with a rather narrow role.


Rumsfeld is just a more likeable Cheney, but no less a hired gun. He controls nothing. He simply carries out orders .... ruthlessly.


Poppy is a real possibility. But I can't stop feeling that he's but the highest known, visible, link to WorldDomCentral. I think he's directly in the chain of command, but not the power. Although .... that legacy thing may mean something .....

descendants of 19th century robber barons and other "ultra-wealthy" US families, plus the royal families of Europe and other world families with long heritages in the unthinkably-rich business. Almost the entire world is owned by a hundred families or less, all intermarried to keep the wealth close. We're talking folks nobody's ever heard of who make Paris Hilton look like a homeless waif.

I think it's a combination of individuals/organizations, but I would really like to know who the linchpin(s) is/are. That is, who, if disabled in some way, would cause the momentum to die.

That's a really good way to look at it. Starkly asking who is in charge. One person.

I started this thread and was thinking it could be one person or it could be a committee.

But looking at it from the top down (if that's even possible), could it be that a lot of what we discuss (such as right here in my own post!) is just hot air? Is it possible that they are exactly what we see and nothing more? Oh sure, a few anonymous behind the scenes types, but, essentially they are just what we see .... a smallish group of (smallish) men who have convinced a lot of people, through some really slick marketing, to vote for them?

Nothing more?
