I suppose Edwards and Biden long for milquetoast |
|
and ineffectual DNC leadership, like that of Terry McAuliff.
I don't.
I think if they should keep their criticism of Howard Dean to themselves.
Republicans take to the airwaves all the time slandering Democrats.
Edwards and Biden should reserve their negativity for the likes of them.

1. Biden I expect it from |
|
I would have preferred Edwards respond by somehow mentioning Rush Limbaugh's comments that we don't need a voting holiday since Democrats don't work.

4. I didn't hear their statements |
|
but I've certainly been hearing about them. Why in the world don't they learn??? :grr:
This is a time when they should be marginalizing the critics, defending Dean's efforts, and lauding his effectiveness.
It's an opportunity to use the bullypulpit of Sunday news shows to say, "Howard Dean is an integral part of the Democratic Party and part of the key to our 50 state campaign strategy. He is doing a wonderful job and making real progress! He's <list three or four bullet points of accomplishments here>. Republicans are simply pointing fingers again and firing up the faxes to give you guys some talking points."
It could have also been a hit to the 'journalists' by intimating conservative bias. But Noooooo!!!

6. I agree with you and it further pissed me off that Edwards made |
|
his comments in Nashville! We don't need that shit here. Thanks for the divisive comments, Mr. Edwards. It just makes it harder for those of us who try to pull dems together and to also try to build bridges of cooperation with an ever growing green party.

7. I guess they want to keep blurring the distinction between themselves... |

...and the Republicans by making the Democrats even more of a "corporate-friendly" party, since that's been working so well.
By trying to get the party to actually stand for something, I guess Dean isn't enough of a hack for some.

Biden always pulls this shit, but Edwards? He shocked me. Take it behind closed doors if you have a critism of Dr. Dean. Don't air the dirty laundry in public. Shame on them! Shame on them BOTH! :grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:

9. Biden was on purpose. Edwards did the complete rookie thing |
|
and is having the hook, line and sinker removed from his mouth soon. I sincerely hope that there were lessons learned by Dems everywhere that responding is an opportunity to do good for the party not for personal agendas to come shining through.
Dean learns much faster and I like that!
