1. Senate starts up at 2 pm E.

3. Too much anticipation around here - way too much.
All Kerry said is that he intends to raise the issue. He doesn't control the Senate floor so we don't even know if he'll be able to speak on the floor today.

I wonder if he realizes how much excitement was generated in the blogosphere by those few words 'I intend to raise the issue'... I fear that whatever Kerry will be able to do today will disappoint many.

To me, the main thing is just to be talking about it, and hopefully other Senators will follow his lead.

6. People here have a tendency to raise expectations far too high
Remember back in December all of the breathless post about Kerry's 'secret plan' to unconcede the election and challenge its results? A lot of naive people got their hope dashed.

7. Excellent point to keep in mind, cest. Frankly, I'll be thrilled...
...with just "raising the issue." I don't expect my socks to be knocked off. I just read that Countdown will be covering it, by the way.
