No Fraud in WA election
Ruling just announced:

"Bridges is making it clear he does not agree with the Republican allegation of fraud in King County."

1. Funny how the 2000 recount requests was Gore being a "sore loser"
Republicans being hypocritical? What are the odds?

16. Those Reptilicans had NO case whatsoever, and they knew it quite well.
Their sole aim, besides giving Dino a platform for self-righteous posturing, was to damage/obstruct the ELECTED Governor as much as possible. They're already preparing for the next election.

Those CREEPS count heavily on a short attention of the voters, and their mind-fuck noise machines try to encourage that. Fuck 'em! NEVER forget. STAND UP, KEEP FIGHTING!

21. For those not following this situation
The state republican party shopped around and had this case heard in a conservative county by a Republican Judge.

Court still found they had not met burden of proof.

:woohoo: :woohoo: Doing the little happy dance :woohoo: :woohoo:

40. They hoped for and needed a friendly judge all along.
Instead they got one that demanded an actual case. He complained that instead of presenting evidence the petitioners asked him to "send a message".

He then reviewed each facet of the "case" and noted the plaintiffs had not produced a scrap of evidence indicating fraud . . . case dismissed WITH predjudice.

15. No way will it be overturned
Procedure was followed to the letter in this case. They have no basis for an appeal and it will not even be heard.

Hopefully, The Supremos won't decide to stick their noses in it after the Washington SC decides not to hear the case.

UPDATE - 09:49 AM

Judge Bridges upholds Gregoire's election

ELECTION TRIAL DISPATCHES: After knocking down, one by one, Republicans' claims that Gregoire's victory was due to errors, illegal votes or fraud, Bridges ruled the election should stand.

Bridges: Overturning election would have meant "judicial egotism"

"An election such as this should not be overturned because one judge picks a number and applies a proportional deduction analysis," Bridges said. "To do so within the context of the facts of this case would constitute the ultimate act of judicial egotism and judicial activism."

31. This one is my favorite
Not me. My wife will retire from her job within three years and we are gone. Gone from this stinking septic tank of socialism, homosexualism, communism, and puking liberal. Gone. If I have to guy a cabin in the mountains of Wyoming, Montana or Idaho, I am. But, I will not live in this stinking state a minute longer after she retires. If she did not have 32 years invested, I would go now. But, we are stuck till she can retire. Then we are gone. She is simply sick about it. She wants to go now also. I wish we could.

In his ruling he pretty much tore the Republican case to shreds. Local Punditry is basically saying Supreme Court will not hear it at this point.

42. Hey Geni!
It's always a beautiful day when Chris Vance has his panties in a wad over something.

I don't have any quotes at this point. It's the usual "fraud bla bla bla, activist judge bla bla bla, we're appealing bla bla bla, Dino Rossi had the election stolen from him, bla bla bla." I finally had to turn off KIRO; I couldn't stand listening to Dori Monson whine for one more minute. (Maybe Dori will run for King County Executive -- after all, he has the answers to everything. Then again, he's too much of a chicken to run for anything.)
