Support The Troops = Never Question Republicans
I got in a brief argument discussion about all the stupid ribbons on cars saying 'support our troops'. We are getting one of the 'support our ribbons' ones...

Anyway the way I see it is that when people put that sticker up, or say something like that what they're really saying is "Don't Question The Republican Party". If Gore or Kerry were president would they still be saying the same things? I doubt it. They were all over Clinton for Somalia and Yugoslavia and Haiti and everything. Where was the "Support our Troops" then?

No. Saying "I support the Troops" and using that as an excuse to not question authority is one of the most unamerican things you can do, and it spits in the face of every american who EVER served his or her country. They defend our freedom. They defend our rights. To not question our government and how they use our troops is HIGHLY american.

I support our troops. Bring Them Home.

1. I saw a bumper sticker that was honest, if wrong
It said "support our president, and the troops". I've always felt, as you do, that the other was implied with those ribbons.
