Bush's ironic jab at Hugo Chavez
Notice, Bush doesn't say which choice he's taken for the U.S.

playing to fear. check.
pitting neighbor against neighbor. check.
blaming others. big check.

Bush also delivered what some officials at the meeting took as a jab at Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez when he said that people in the hemisphere face "two competing choices" in the 21st century.

"One offers the vision of hope. It is founded on representative government, integration into the world markets and a faith in the transformative power of freedom in individual lives," Bush said. "The other seeks to roll back the democratic progress of the past two decades by playing to fear, pitting neighbor against neighbor and blaming others for their own failures to provide for their people."

10. Gee... I wonder if the idiot-in-chief is even aware...
Edited on Mon Jun-06-05 07:47 PM by Amonester
that he just described the actual state of the U.S. of A. under his neoconster's barbarian regime in his last statement...

Or alright, he was talking about how Venezuela will look like after he'll bomb it for a couple of years, after he'll have murdered 100,000+ innocent Venezuelians, 1,600 murkan boys 'n girls, destroyed her infrastructures, wiped-out entire villages into oblivion, and spread-out tons of lethal radioactive particules all across the land and in the sewer system.

Oh, I forgot... Big Oil will also have paid him and his gangsters a few billions to hide somewhere in the Bermudas, and income tax will soon have to be doubled inside the U.S. of A. (for her not to go bankrupt)

Hallelooooooya!

:grr:

11. Chavez has nads
BushCo almost ousted him once and our Government has been behind plane and helicopter downings of leader that didn't do our bidding.

Chavez would prefer to make sure his people are represented instead of enriching himself and hamstringing his country in crippling debt.
