Los Almos whistleblower brutally beaten, he was due to testify this month
Los Alamos Whistleblower Assaulted

Los Alamos whistleblower "Tommy Hook is still hospitalized today after being brutally assaulted over the weekend," the Project on Government Oversight is saying. "A group of three to four assailants threatened Hook to keep silent, in apparent reference to his upcoming Congressional testimony on fraud at Los Alamos."

Mr. Hook was slated to testify before the House Energy and Commerce Committee this month. Congressional staff from the Committee were already scheduled to arrive Tuesday, June 7th to investigate Tommy Hook's allegations. Also flying out tomorrow is the Project On Government Oversight's Senior Investigator Peter Stockton who investigated the 1974 murder of nuclear whistleblower Karen Silkwood in his previous position as a Congressional investigator.

2. This is awful
How people treat whistleblowers is disgusting. If your government was doing something illegal (whether locally or nationally) wouldn't you want to know about it? I know I sure as hell would. Even if it was someone I supported. I would disappointed of course but at least I'd know the truth of the ordeal. The people who beat him should get some jail time or something. They could've easily murdered him! I still hope he goes forward with what he has.

5. The Goon Squads are Unleashed
The prophesied "Seven Plagues of Bush & Cronies" are upon the nation. The Goons are but one -- on the loose in savage service of BushCo's Homeland* State.

21. Seems to me
The Government boys are screwing the pooch with crap like this. When the dumb fucks kill a man or beat him up, it only serves to draw more public attention to what ever he has to say. Why don't they leave these people alone, ignore them? For many of us, the fact that he's been attacked lends that much more credibility to anything he says. In much the same way, that the Government has tried to cram Oswald down our throats as Kennedy's killer for 40 odd years, and yet witnesses and whistle blowers died by the dozens. Uncle Sam just ain't as bright as he thinks he is.

10. CBS Evening News.....
did a report on this tonight. (I checked their site and it is not
there) They had a lot of video in the report. It showed a close-up of Mr.Hook's face. He was not recognizable. The quote was "you can see
heel imprints on his face"! and you could. This is just terrible - beyond words. I hope he recovers COMPLETELY. Prayers for him.

16. Whistleblower protections have been systematically dismantled
over the last 4-1/2 years. As evidenced here, they truly take their lives in their hands in today's environment.

Wonder if anyone will be prosecuted?

Tragically, it's another brick in the alter of those who worship *, his minions, and their dark purposes.

Those of you lurking who voted for * and his thugs, does this give you a warm, rosy glow? Be careful, they could come for you next!

God bless America.

20. The nation has become desensitized to the crimes of the BFEE
As new facts are revealed about the bfee's thuggery, fraud, and assorted crimes, it strikes me that it is so prevalent that it appears to be normal.

The national nightmare, and disgrace, continue.

I pray that he will have the courage and the resolve to testify. His family must be scared out of their wits.

I hope Peter Stockton isn't tipping anybody off as to which plane he'll be on. This is freaky. It's like we're dealing with the g'damned Mafia.

26. The Mob
is pretty small potatoes, compared to the fucking cabal that really runs this country. I think Smirky is really nothing but a puppet figure. Some one else is pulling his strings. But this has been the case since 11/22/'63.
