Bush is my Man
I am a mere singular voice out here and these are only the words of me, Salinen.

I am glad to see the republicans in power. Yep. Why? It probably goes back as far as the Spanish/American War but certainly after WW2 America has become a haven for Industrialist Warriors to launch violence via it's purchased puppet American Government in order to procure resources. This was the plan of the first Axis (Germany, Italy, and Japan) to conquer and exploit the world's resources. With the republicans in control, the quickening of the collaspe of this American Empire and shawdow Imperialism can finally happen.

How does the planet benefit from the present situation? War, Environmental disfunction, and Ethnic Cleansing seem to be the desired triad for this rebirthing of the Regan crime family.

The stench of the republican death machine is fouling the air. The end of Soviet Russia was the half way point to riding the world of the menace that was two headstrong ideologies on a worldwide killing spree to prove whose ideas were bigger. Korea, Vietnam, Nicaragua, Afghanistan, and Iraq have been proving grounds for intimidation.

I desire the U.S. to have much less influence in the world - less Economic clout, and less military clout. And Who are Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush, Rice, Gonzales, Negroponte, and Bolton? For me, by severely overreaching, they just may be the people who bring about the demise of this Fascho/Industrial/Capitalistic/Militaristic/Jingoistic/Nationalistic/Chisto/Imperialism faster than any other crew.

1. So THAT'S why you hate America!

Just kidding.

All nations pursue their self-interest. When you're top dog YOU are the one that benefits from INSTABILITY, because you are the strongest and most likely to survive. Europeans seem to have finally gotten "it", after many centuries of destruction, the point that we're better off with cooperation and avoiding warfare. We're still immature here.

I think the NeoCons are very much aware that the era of America's natural preeminence has come to an end. The only way to extend it past its natural shelf-life is through militarism. They think they can get away with it domestically through fear, but more importantly, because no one politically wants to tell the American people that there are limits. Without militarism, there is only ONE way that a somewhat decent way of life can be sustained for American society.

We are an immensely wealthy country, but the wealth is concentrated at the top. Redistribution of wealth along the lines taken by the older advanced European countries is the only thing that could straighten this country out. Its the last resort. Of course there are very powerful interest groups resisting this solution. So they back NeoCon policies because they know its their only alternative to holding on to their immense wealth. When it becomes obvious that the NeoCon way can only fail, they will slowly come around and support what should have been done long ago.

My fear is that they will become too desperate as things spiral out of control. The Moneymakers are usually pretty level-headed and apolitical. If the sane ones don't stop this madness soon it may be too late to recover. Time is not on our side, what with Peak Oil and environmental catastrophe around the corner. Its gonna be a wild ride....

2. Exactly!
This is the last effort of a desperate ideal. And at this point, the only "superpower" ranking we have left is the military. So the neo-con think tanks see that invading (stealing) the second largest oil reserves in the world can offset horrendous deficits and loss of markets. It almost worked. For the same reasons Soviet Russia finally went belly up, America will pursue the exact strategy until the bitter end.

The only question is, will they go quietly, or convince the end-timers that this is it and pull the lever.
