Is there a parallel government at work in the U.S. that holds real power |

and dictates the policies and priorities to the 'elected' officials who pose as the front men for them? Is it also possible that the tax cuts that Bush has enacted and the greedy eyes he has laid on social security are to set up to pay for the expenses of this parallel government?
To me the biggest evidence for such a parallel government was the Clinton impeachment and the rising chorus from the courts, the media and the legislators acting as though they were united in their motives and acting at the direction of unseen choreographers.Of course, that has now been reinforced by the many actions before and after the demonstration elections of Bush Jr.
The more I think about it, the more Frank Zappa is proving to be an unusually prophetic person.

I have quoted from Senator Byrd's book, where he confirms this, several times.

From the country club to think tanks to huge corporations to interest groups to political parties to churches to unions.
The fact that decisions and positions develop outside of government isn't new. It's pretty much going to happen in a democracy. The important thing is that we SEE them. For example, the Clinton impeachment was entirely generated by a few elites throwing scandal and the telegenic big battle into the MSM echo chamber. That it was contrary to the wishes of the vast majority and based on a few narrow political interests was important.

The agents in power just respond to the "shareholders" ranked by their financial contributions to the nazi republican party.

it's called "Corporate America". The huge multinationals that bow down to their one true god; greed. Why do you think the minutes of Cheney's "energy task force" will never be made public? Because their entire illegal, immoral plan for domination of the world's oil reserves were formulated during those meetings. Why do you think the bush administration is the most secretive administration ever? Because if the truth ever got out it would shake our Democracy to the very core. What bush has done would make Watergate look like a prayer meeting.

8. How much do we "pay for the expenses of this parallel government?" |
|
Rumsfeld pointed a finger at it when he confirmed on September 10, 2001 that some $2.3 trillion in DoD funds could not be accounted for. A long-time defense analyst comments to CBS, “ numbers are pie in the sky. The books are cooked routinely year after year.” Coverage of this rather shocking story is nearly nonexistent given the events of the next day. www.cooperativeresearch.org/ item.jsp?item=a630vigilantguardian&timeline=complete_911_timeline
The bigger picture is the $11.5 trillion in assets that are stashed away, untaxed and unaccounted for, by the wealthy in offshore tax shelters. www.csmonitor.com/2005/0425/p17s01-cogn.html
These are the virtually unregulated funds that fuel the global nexis of illicite trade in drugs, arms and terrorism. Even after 9/11. BushCo has done virtually nothing to reign in the purveyors in secret finance, and has considerably expanded the scope of black budgets.
