A: Exactly (she was one of the "stars" of teevee's The Mod Squad about a hundred years ago.

A: Exactly.


Q: Why does anyone care?

A: Iraq. Need to fill airtime. Has-been psuedo celebs are hot this season. I guess. I don't know why or how anyone thought Peggy Lipton deserved anything but a three-second blip on ET. The world is falling apart, but Peggy Lipton has a book about her crappy career 30 some-odd years ago.

CNN is at fault here, for emphasizing Lipton's story in a way that distracts viewers from far more important matters. But Ms. Lipton has every right to tell her story -- and to be respected as a human being with a sex life. While having a sex life may be worthy of locker-room snickers in the "Homeland," it is regarded as normal where I come from: the United States of Amnerica

I didn't know anything about Lipton's sex life, as I didn't/don't care, and it has absolutely no affect on my life in any way. Thanks, Spiral. Let's stay focused on the Republican Media's obfuscatory newsfotainment practices.

First she whinnied about how she used sex to try to "find herself" and went on about how pitiful she was; then she was asked about some of her famous partners.

She could not contain her glee when she was asked about Paul McCartney.

I literally left the room it was so nauseating.
