1. I sure hope this is a tinfoil matter... but
It really is amazing the number of people who have done something the BFEE doesn't like who have died of what is classified as an extremely rare illness.

3. It is weird
My gut wants to believe that this is one of those matters where the administration actually did just get lucky.

But I do admidt that it is strange how people who speak out or oppose them die or get anthrax mailed to them.

This is a horrible loss for the people at 60 minutes.

2. Holy shyte!
I missed the Halliburton segment tonight -- what with the delay for the damn football game, I switched over to PBS, got involved in what they were showing (Easter Island program, pretty intriguing actually...) -- and missed most of 60 Minutes. (Caught the last part of the Alaska natural pipeline segment -- which had plenty of fodder for outrage in itself, imho...)

But DAMN! Good eye on ya, Wonk! I wouldn't have known about Trevor Nelson's death, or made the connection.

I'm feeling so sickened by everything that's going in the world these days. I think I might want to move to Easter Island and try to start a tree planting program...

4. Well, that would be necessary work.
Try to bring enough fertilizer. God knows they're shoveling enough of it at the White House.

7. I know the feeling, SW
BTW, I miss seeing more of you here. I really do.

Anyway, as I was telling my family last night at dinner, this particular time -- I mean right now, in the last several weeks and stretching who knows how long into the immediate future seem to me like such a tilting point -- so many things could go either way, in our favor or not. SO many things. It can be very overwhelming.

I've gotten to the point that I have actual panic attacks (a new phenom for me), though mild, over the BBV stuff.

Anyway, keep the faith. :loveya:

10. Hi Eloriel!
:hi: Oh, I'm still around, posting thread killers and random bits of philosophizing that immediately sink into unread obscurity. :P

I so admire all the BBV work you've been doing, my apologies that I have not made that admiration very visible. Do take care of yourself!

8. Oh, goodness
You know, one of the things we haven't pursued to any great extent that I'm aware of on DU is the BFEE's connections to various companies doing biological warfare research. I always forget the one in TX -- could be Rice or connected to Rice.

Batelle rings a bell for other research (not in TX and I'm not absolutely sure of BFEE connections, just heavy-duty CIA connections).

Shoot, what IS that firm in TX with James Baker III on the Board doing lots of nasty stuff? I ALWAYS have a mental block on that, and until or unless I get my hard drive back, can't look it up.

9. BioPort is one
(You're all free to corroborate or debunk this article if you want. ymmv)

http://www.skolnicksreport.com/ootar3.html

(snip)

The Board of Directors of BioPort included Admiral William J. Crowe, Jr., former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and former chairman of the President's FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE ADVISORY BOARD. Crowe is a member of the conspiratorial COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS, CFR, and chairman of the New World Order group, Senior Advisory Board for GLOBAL OPTIONS. That group included five other CFR members such as the former Director of Central Intelligence, R. James Woolsey. The administrations of Jimmy Carter, the Elder Bush, Bill Clinton, and the Younger Bush were and are absolutely riddled with CFR overlords.

The stockholders of BioPort Corporation reportedly include the following
===The CARLYLE GROUP that includes former cabinet members of the Elder Bush White House and other oil monopolists, such as James A. Baker 3rd, once Secretary of State. Some contend that Baker in part handled the 40 million dollars of secret dope loot that was used to corrupt and influence DEMOCRATS in Florida to stop the ballot recount even before the U.S. Supreme Court "Gang of Five" got into the picture and installed George W. Bush as the "occupant" and "resident" of the White House.

13. Kick, anyone know any more about the Meningitis....didn't see much in the
links.....but one of the links:" DU thread" didn't download. Is there an obituary or something that says more about when he got it and how it was treated. Did he have poor medical care? i.e. didn't catch it in time?

This is very odd....the timing.....but then everything to do with BFEE is convenient timing.
