36. I agree 1000% with everything Rosie said, BUT
she sounded like a raving lunatic and the audience seemed to be on Sean's side. And who was that young voice who is one of the women on The View? (And what is it with these young adults who have bought in to the lies Hannity tells?)

Go Rosie go. Eventually the other side will see that you are right. And boy, do I admire your courage.

4. I don't think I can watch it...
Honestly Hannity is the lowest of the low as far as I'm concerned. I believe in karma and if there is karma I hope Hannity gets a world of pain at some point. I think I hate him more than the rest because I think he actually believes the crap he spews whereas wretches like Rush and Savage, etc. are putting on what they know to be a very lucrative and well paying act.

25. What makes you think that he believes what he spews?
Edited on Tue Jun-07-05 04:31 PM by norml
He knows very well that he's lying, when he lies. I've heard it in the way he puts things together. They on the View let him slide on too much. I had to shut it off in disgust. They didn't call him on the doubling of the commonly used mass grave number. They hadn't done enough research to be able to come up with one accomplishment of Hillary Clinton in the Senate. That's one of his standard rhetorical questions when it comes to talking about her. Don't they even know how to do a web search? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=hillary+clinton+accomplishments&btnG=Google+Search

14. More likely the crowd clapping
because some flunky held up the "applause" sign.

He's allowed to yammer without interruption. The women are constantly interrupted. Did you notice that? I sure did. You can't hear a thing they say.

16. Hannity could not find his way out of Mr. Bush Jr.'s ass
to save his life.

Hannity had to ask, "...where is the proof"? People on this board ask why is the media not reporting this or reporting that. Here is your answer, this is so idiots like Hannity can get onto a stage in front of an audience and say, "...where is the proof"? You can bet your bottom dollar that a lot of people will agree with him because they are not news junkies like ourselves who attempt to keep themselves thoroughly informed.

17. I can't believe the # of people clapping at the end of the clip when
Hannity made the comment that the world is better off and safer because this president had the moral courage to stand up.... clap, clap, clap

This is New York? WTF?

Listen carefully to the end of the clip. This audience must have been stacked with Hannity fans. That's the only thing I can come up with (reasonably).

26. I agree about the Hannity fans!
No doubt that coward made sure he had a lot of fans in the audience.

Rosie did an awesome job! If she were a regular, I'd watch it everyday.

I'm so disgusted watching these right-wing pundits being treated with kid gloves on these talk shows, as though they actually didn't steal the election & they speak for the majority. All the polls since the election have consistently shown that the majority of Americans do not approve of what's going on in this country.

I sent a letter to ABC praising Rosie. :)

18. Seeing Joy Behar cringing whenever Rosie got "shrill"
reminds me of the folks at social gatherings who just can't stand it for political discussions to get that contentious. Hello folks! Things ARE that bad, and there needs to be a lot of yelling and arguing in our homes and neighborhoods and schools to wake these Fox News zombies the fuck UP.

And when did Rosie become a democrat again? Last I heard she was ragging on Clinton for lying about his sex life (even though she concealed hers for years) but had no problem with the Starr witch hunt.

You loved Bush after 9-11, Rosie. Wha'happen?

:applause: he couldn't even respond to her because he's so used to talking over people. she called him "delusional" several times, which i think was great. contrary to the opinion below, hannity just kept repeating tired and faux rw "talking points" about the world being safer and democracy...blah, blah, blah. the contrast was clear...a thinking person vs. a fauxsnooze robot.

32. Sorry, but that was no smack down. Rosie was weak with her arguments.....
but then again, she's a comedian. Why don't they have Mike Malloy as a guest host and then have the likes of Hannity on?

I'm just sick of fools like Hannity and others of his ilk not getting the real beatdown they deserve (er, I mean verbal beatdown, of cours:). But I guess I need to consider that it was "The View." How serious of a debate can you have on a show of that nature?

BTW, that Elizabeth woman makes me sick. She's a "rabid Conservative" in the tradition of Ann Coulter. Notice how Hannity gave her props for having his back on the show. I understand she brings a different perspective to the show, but she is one of the many reason I can't stand the show, not that I would ever admit to having once been a regular watcher.

34. Did anyone catch Elisabeth saying something about ...
going to Africa? Of course after eating her suggestion that we are obligated to support democracy. Rosie busted her and asked if we should police the world ... she attempted to rephrase, then said she'd go. I guess she thinks that Survivor prepared her ... I say send her sorry ass. Female repubs make me sick, particularly when they endorse war. She should sign her child over now, if she feels so strongly. Or better yet, her husband ... he's a strapping lad, but I guess he's a bigger hero as a pro athlete. I'm sure he gets paid better. :puke:

Token bimbette to offer "diversity" on a show where the women are supposed to have brains.
