God Hates Credit Card Debt! Christian Debt Relief Services???

Found this in my e-mail this morning. Small print indicated that it is from Harrison Direct.

What exactly is the Christian way to approach your credit card debt? I'm not much of a Bible scholar. But I don't recall those passages.

If he's not ready to bring some old testament style wrath down on my creditors, I don't even want to talk!

1. Read: Up to 70% is forgiven. This means it's converted into INCOME,

your credit rating gets a big-ass hit, and you get to pay a shitload of tax on that "income".

Also, why are they flaunting hetersexuality so freely? I'd tell those two pigs to get a frigging room. (public displays of affaction are gross, I don't care who it is.)

3. anytime some " Christian " service contacts me I check my wallet.

I once sent them a response that I prefered Satanic debt removal and Satanic Singles... ( or marrieds ) . I still get their emails.

just a point here, I never carry a balance on my cards and I only make charges when I have budgeted funds for them - I'm all about the free tickets on Southwest Airlines.

We treat like credit cards like herion. We have to have them, but only use them sparingly.

4. My wife and I cut all of them up years ago. Relying now exclusively

on a debit card attached to the checking account. Still paying the others off but almost clear!

I use my credit union debit card for all else. Except I do get free tickets on Southwest, which I can sell to friends and use to proceeds for discretionary spending.
I will save up the cash for a big ticket item and use my credit card for the transaction.

Bling Bling ! It supports my craving for discretionary stuff but again I NEVER EVER carry a balance. I just want to have a card in case my transmission dies on the road in Wichita Falls, Texas - no place you want to be stuck.

Its good for things like car rentals too, in case of need.

6. I'll Guarantee You

that one of the principles of "Christian" debt reduction is making a contribution to a religious organization. It's that old Oral Roberts "seed faith" idea - give to God (or somebody who claims to be acting on His behalf) - and He will multiply your gift back to you. Fundy Christians are some of the greediest people on earth - something that is encouraged by their properity teachers.
