2. That's what I thought at first.

Then I thought of how Republicans get people into their camp--Rush Limbaugh, Pat Robertson, Ann Coulter, etc. The Republican chairman of the Republican party makes alot of outrageous statements about Democrats, but the media doesn't make a big deal of it. If we let them get away with shutting us up again, we deserve what we get.

But you have to remember that those folks vote too. There is no way to bring them into our camp by insulting something that they believe in so strongly. But I see where you're coming from.

There is now way around that. It is just too big a chunk of votes to give the repugs. And to do that we need to reach out to and meet halfway on some issues. Being progun would help a lot. The bubbas I know, know voting repug hurt them but they will not vote for an anti gun cnadidate.

TX in particular. How can we just concede the second largest state in America? To lose in TX by 30% really kills us.
