Katherine Harris Senate run poll in my local paper today.

Link: http://www.theledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/frontpage

Related article is right next to the poll. So far the vote is 58% Yes and 42% No. I wouldn't say this is an overwhelming vote of support.

And BTW. The paper that this poll is in is one of only two major newspapers in the state that endorsed Shit-for-Brains for prez. They usually lean to the right in most cases.

4. Note that the poll is only asking an opinion as to whether she will run
Heck, I can say Yes to that and still post what I did in number 2.

8. No. Read it again.
Actually it asks "do you think she will WIN in 2006".

12. Hmm, so it does.
I have no opinion to offer on that. That I will leave to Floridians. Also, there seems to be a more nebulous concept of what it means to win in election in Florida than in many other places. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with whether more people voted for one candidate or another, as Ms. Harris, of all people, should know.

5. REpublican county rag machine
we in the northern counties don;t want her at all...shes a lying sleeze bag..........she did not alloe all vote to be countd........because if she was interested in a fair election her office had the option of recounts......to count..many votes were thrown out in 2000....and now look at was happened .the little boy was elected again in 2004.......

anyone interested in voting for her or convincing your friends about this woman should read all about her..do searchs on this .......person...whom was caught playing footie with a member of the house.....and also read.

Florida's Republican Secretary of State Katherine Harris ignored all the Palm Beach recount in her "officially certified" Sunday 26 November 2000 "5PM deadline" election results. The (mostly Democrat appointed...) Florida Supreme Court "said manual recount totals must be accepted by the secretary of state's office through 5 p.m. on Sunday if it is open, or 9 a.m. Monday if it is not" (NYT, 21Nov00). Harris was on the job Sunday, seemingly to avoid accepting any more recount results than she had to, to try to protect the slim "lead" of the candidate whose state campaign she had co-chaired, George W. Bush -- whose lead got slimmer each time more ballots were recounted. Palm Beach's recount was completed just before 7:00PM Sunday....

6. Unless I am reading it wrong...that isnt a POLL
it's an online user survey. It isn't scientific or controlled. It's nothing more than a sampling of webpage readers who decide to click the box. The margin of error on these is around 100%...

I think these things need to go away...I'm sick of seeing them paraded around on CNN and elsewhere as if they're some sort of meaningful measure of anything aside from a few web browsers...and of course the ability to cherry pick just the ones that support what they want is rediculous.

bah...rant...froth...barf...

7. 55.6% to 44.4%, but the way the question
is presented. do you think she can win. well if you believe florida is thoroughly crooked, even not wanting her, the answer would be yes

9. She should be in jail for unlawfully denying people the right to vote.
Unfortunately, the crooks are running the courts, now.

11. She should be in Gitmo. She did more damage to the US than
whoever was behind the attack on 9/11, and the fraud that she perpetrated in the 2000 election may have opened the door for that attack.

13. Of Course She Can "Win" -- It's FLORIDA!
where Democratic voters can even hear the sound of their votes
being flushed down the toilet when they vote.

14. She's never won yet, but that hasn't stopped her from cheating. Hopefully
people will riot if she cheats again. Does anyone remember the guy who tried to run her over with his car? DAMN!

15. Way to go Dems.
After about 900 votes cast the ratio is now around 50/50 with just a slight lean toward "No".
