Nah, he'll wait another week or two, then he'll jump into the fray. Maybe.

3. To the right-wing scum giggling over this thread...
The point was that Kerry *ISN'T* going to do anything.

DUH.

I've long suspected that Kerry was a BFEE ringer, or a very comfy guy, just doing a job - he doesn't really care about this stuff.

Believe me dumbasses, I have never held my breath for Kerry to do anything.

Geez, what must it be like when he wants to go to dinner? By the time he decides it must be time for breakfast.

Edited on Wed Jun-08-05 07:11 PM by UdoKier
The original thread calls him a Bonesman - as in Skull and Bones? As in ringer? How retarded are you people anyway?

They're clucking that we're all disappointed in out "hero".

Hello! Despite the fact that Kerry is preferable by a long shot over your clown prince, very few of us idolize him, and a whole lot of us don't trust him.

But you'll believe in your clown prince even when he leads you over the cliff (after picking your pocket). I'm glad I have the wits about me to question my leaders, even when they are supposedly on "my side".

12. What are you talking about
you wanna post a link to the freeper thread you're answering? Otherwise it looks like you're talking to yourself.

By the way, prove that most of us didn't support Kerry. I see more than a "very few" here who still support him. Maybe a majority of your friends didn't support him, but that's hardly a scientific poll, is it?

15. First of all it's a given that Kerry was far from being most DUers'...
...first choice last year. We all jumped on the bandwagon because he got the nod. We even found out a few things to like about him when we looked into his past (anti Vietnam war, Iran-Contra investigation) But the fact that a few midwestern folks foisted him off on us doesn't mean we have to continue to worship him after his campaign failed.

And I didn't say that few support him, we just don't all idolize him like you obviously do. If he ever actually gets his ass in gear and does what he says he'll do RE the DSM, I'll be right behind him.

As for the other thread, I can only say it's on another site and it directly linked to this thread, and distorted what it was saying.

I am addressing them here because I refuse to post my thoughts in a sewer.

16. Oh, so the "us" is us here
I thought you meant Dems as a whole. Sorry.

We're not exactly representative of the Party as a whole. He had more support in the rank and file than he did here, I believe. ABB inflated his numbers, but he had support.

26. You think they rigged the diebold machines in the Dem primaries for Kerry?
Really? I've not heard that one before. I think Kerry won NH. He's their kind of guy. He won Iowa because he had the Gov and his wife working the state for him. It really sucks that two or three homogenious states decide for all of us.

23. I stopped trusting Kerry when he didn't use the money we sent him
to check out stories of election fraud. I even asked him to send my money back. I need it a helluva lot more than he does. I'm not convinced the election was stolen, but there were enough irregularities to raise an eyebrow.

I look at Kerry and wonder what happened to the brave young soldier that returned from Vietnam to denounce the US role in that war. That brave soldier is gone. In his place is a wussy, pink tutu Dem who is too afraid to tell the truth.

If/when Kerry starts walking the walk, I'll stand behind him. Until then, he can watch his own back.

A great start, but DEMs need to be on TV talking about this instead of whatever it is they are talking about.

Having said that- the "bonesman" crap has nothing to do with this.

All of you, the I liked my candidate better" and my candidate should have won" and my candiate comes out swinging groups. Why don't you go and cantact all of your "didn't make it past the primaries" or hasn't even run yet candidates and hound them about the DSM.Let's see if they come out and shot it above the roof tops. This is the way John Kerry has chosen to handle this situation-take it or leave it.
Oh,and please, keep me informed about how well you suceed with your candidate of choice.

of it. Why do you choose to participate in the thread?

And to answer your question of why don't we contact this one or that one. Maybe we already have, maybe we will tomorrow. But for now, we are discussing the topic among ourselves. But thanks for the suggestion. Maybe we will post a thread that will update you on just what we are or are not doing. Keep an eye out for it.

32. I though all comments were welcome here!
Are you telling me this is just an exclusive anti- John Kerry post? Am I not permitted to present an opposing point of view here. Oh, I get it, this is just for negative people to post negative comments and reinforce negative opinions and behaviors. I feel better now, and your right, I don't belong here.I have to leave before all your negativism starts to overtake me. One last thing before I go, promise me you will let me know when and what you hear from your candidate on this issue. Bye!

30. I'm just sick of being strung along.
He gets everybody excited about Monday then does nothing.

If Dean or Clark did the same, I'd be pissed at them, too. The worst I've seen from them is Dean shooting off his mouth a bit too much, but he doesn't flake out on us like Kerry has a habit of doing.

33. You got to have faith!
I don't have all the answers. Sometimes though, the best intentions go awry. There is much protocol in the Senate. He has no control over the daily agenda. Frist has control over that. We democrats have very little power in Washington right now. Kerry can bring it up,but he can't move mountains. The important thing to me is that he has keep his word. The DSM will be addressed and I have enough faith in him to know it will be handled in the best possible way.
