Can you name one foreign country that outsources its jobs to the USA?
I called my cable company and I wanted to set up service and when I gave them my address the lady on the other end asked me what State Chicago was located in.
She sounded like an American so I thought that the CSR dept might have been located in a prison and the inmate really didn't know where Chicago was at but then I remembered hearing that our jobs were being outsourced to other countries.

I latter found out that the cable companies phones are being answered by another country.
I pay for my cable in the USA and I want the damn phones to be answered here and the money should go to our people that are out of work.

I am curious now and I can't seem to remember what companies outsource their jobs to us.

Can someone please tell me what type of jobs they are and what countries are we doing jobs for?

2. Canada, too.
Several Canadian companies in the past have moved operations to the Midwest because we work harder and cheaper than they do. Sorry, I don't have the deatails offhand.

(Are we Mexico to them?)

4. Well, since Canada has its own government, its own money,
a border with the US that is overseen by customs agents, its own seat at the United Nations, etc., it qualifies as a foreign nation, at least from an American perspective. Of course, Canadians may have a different opinion of their country.

5. Then...
just how far away does a country have to be to qualify?
