typical republican solution to Iraq--- |
|
I got into this discussion with a friend of mine today---should have known better----His solution for Iraq is nuke the whole damn thing ,turn it into a pile of sand and then steel the oil--get rid of all those damn communists---I don't for the life of me know where the communists entered this but hey, then I don't think like he does---------This guy is fairly intelligent, reads and listens to news--- but I could not reason with him---Then Clinton came up, and he was the most dishonest president we have every had---even committed murder--------By the time I left he was frothing at the mouth----how in the hell do you deal with someone like this, other then to just walk away from it all------------

I've heard a few like that, but most I talk to are more coherent.
And your account lacks a ring I can't put on my finger... uh put my finger on.

3. "Wow, you should really see someone about your |
|
anger issues" and then disengage. When that doesn't work, I pull out the "WWJD" stuff and mention "blessed are the peacemakers" "turn the other cheek" etc. That usually shuts them up.

4. Sounds like your friend is projecting |

just a little.
Navel gazing is a great activity when you sit in denial.

5. For the life of me I cannot see saying that anyone that say the things |
|
this numb nuts said, could look at as fairly intelligent. When you say he reads (Ann Colter), news (faux news)...

6. It's amazing the number of people who believe Clinton is the big liar |
|
and * tells the truth. The thing about *'s lies is that you have to follow the actions he does to notice that he's lying. For some reason, people can't do that. Too busy with reality TV i guess. You actually have to have a memory about what's going on to catch these guys. It's real easy actually. I just assume everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie and I go out and find the truth.
Another thing is that believe the president is a liar or murderer takes a lot from the average American. Even my dad who is a life-long Democrat and hates * thinks people should not say bad things about him because he's the president. I don't have that blindfold myself.

7. Your definition of fairly intelligent is far, far less stringent than mine |
|
No one mentioning even one of the points you stated could be considered intelligent, or even average. The guy has hole where his reasoning center is supposed to be.
