Homophobes : Hate gays b/c they deny own homoeroticism :: Creationists : ? |
|
Just as the research has been done that the most homophobic among us are those who are so defensive of the issue because they fight an inner-conflict of suppressing their own same-sex desires which, many say, are stronger than in the "typical" "straight" man,, the most passionately Creationist among us are likewise driven by an inner-denial of their own naturalistic origins and dependence upon nature. They must, in order to operate, believe that we rule and live according to laws independent and above the laws of nature. Otherwise, if they accepted science to tell us theories of our origins, they'd have to admit the direct relationship between our health and the environment's health and they'd be more vulnerable to feelings of compassion for the natural emotions and suffering of other beings; just as a homophobe, if forced to accept a fraternity with homosexuals would have to accept his own homoerotic natures.

I grew up "Catholic". Most, and I DO mean MOST, of the Catholics I know are what one would call "CEFW" Catholics. Christmas, Easter, Funerals and Weddings.

11. I honestly don't believe I have ever seen anyone hate |
|
anything they didn't fear in themselves.
Fear is a cruel master.
