Please explain again : How did we know the names of hijackers so quickly?
Were they not all blown to smithereens in the planes? I do recall they found a wallet with ID near WTC crash site.. Did they have their names on the airline passenger rolls?? How would we know those were their real names? Did not the terrorists use fake names most of the time? Any further info on this..

1. We don't need to know....
Just trust our government. They know what you need to know. just sit back and enjoy life. Or, better still, get to work... so they can.

2. Excuse me, but our FBI...
is the most competent investigative force in the world. Need I say more? <bwahahahahaha!>

I pondered this very question the day of the attacks. I think it was that very day, or the day after when we knew it was bin Laden and almost everything about the terrorists. As much as I was horrified and angry, I believed something was very fishy about how the FBI supposedly found the information so quickly. If the Bush administration would allow an investigation in to 9-11, maybe we would find out.

4. Simply amazing...
The feds are so skilled in their task, that within a mere six hours they not only knew who these people were; they knew where they had lived, where they had learned to fly, where they did their drinking and whoring, as well as what rental car company was preferred.

However, a list of what fake names they used does seem to have escaped these intrepid investigators.

5. Especially when you consider
how much they claim to not know about anything else. And that everything they claim to know, almost always turns out to be wrong.

If they knew so much within 2 days about exactly who did this crime, then how did all of them get through security at the airports that morning? Weren't any of them under surveillance?

If they knew who did it, then how could this operation have been such a big surprise? Because if they knew exactly who did it, then they had to have some clue as to what it was they were planning to do.

6. We don't really know WHO the hijackers were
Edited on Mon Sep-22-03 07:54 AM by htuttle
Assuming for a moment that the lists of passengers that were released were NOT complete (since none of the hijacker's names are on them), I'd imagine the FBI went down the list and picked out every Arabic-sounding name.

However, since that time, it's been discovered that more than half (9 or so?) of those people purported to be hijackers were actually somewhere else (overseas) and are still alive today. Presumably, 'the hijackers' all used fake names and IDs. So they could have been anyone, for all we know.

All this could probably be cleared up if there was a valid, independent investigation.

US-Taliban relations: friend turns fiend as pipeline politics fail

http://www.tehelka.com/channels/currentaffairs/2001/oct/3/ca100301us1.htm

Prior to September 11, Bush offered the Taliban a "carpet of gold" if they would hand over Bin Laden and let Unocal build an oil pipeline from the Caspian region to Pakistan

Paula Zahn and CNN have taken notice and reported on a book by French investigative reporters Jean-Charles Brisard and Guillaume Dasquie which reported that prior to 9/11/2001, GWBush offered the Taliban a "carpet of gold" if they would hand over Bin Laden and let Unocal build an oil pipeline from the Caspian region to Pakistan. At the same time, the book reports, GWBush blocked an investigation into Al Qaeda, prompting FBI deputy director John O'Neill to quit, saying "the main obstacles to investigate Islamic terrorism were U.S. oil corporate interests and the role played by Saudi Arabia in it."

8. Because they were on the Bush Crime Family payroll?
Clearly they pulled the names out of their asses, since quite a few of them were found to be alive and well after the attack.

11. Easy; the PNAC/BFEE employee roster had them listed, in
alphabetical order. The trail winds through the BFEE/PNAC, to the Saudis, to the Pakistanis. Of course, there's no confirming whether any of those people were actually on the planes. Some say the planes were being flown by remote control. In any case, it reeks of BFEE/PNAC. They got the "Pearl Harbor" they wanted so badly, in order to speed their quest for world domination, and control of the world's oil resources.

12. It's pretty simple really
The flight roster showed 5 arabic names in first class on three of the flights, all sitting in first class in the front rows. The other flight had four men with arabic names sitting in first class in the front row.

Whether or not those men were using there real names or not we'll never know.

18. Correct sgr2
It was really as simple as seeing Arabic names and naming them. The Pentagon flight and Pennsylvania flight each by phone told people on the ground there were four and five Arab hijackers.

When the roster found four and five Arabic sounding names, then the mystery was solved.

The fact that many of these ID's were not real is pretty much a given I would think.
